How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewExcellent location, clean rooms, new big gym, high potential beach. Big villas and chalets are excellent specially those with private pools by the beach.
The beach is sandy. However neglected, as there are a lot of rocks that can be easily removed with simple maintenance. Also a private beach with no access to hotel guests is taking the majority of the beach area !!! Mosquitoes are very harsh there, very poor insects fighting. Beach service and activity needs a lot of development. Gym needs more care, its such a sad waste after buying these extremely new machines.

We faced a few issues at the beginning, but the reception staff – especially Mr. Raafat – were incredibly helpful and resolved everything smoothly. In fact, this is the second year we’ve come back to this hotel because of the excellent experience we had with him last year as well. We would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Raafat for his outstanding support in solving our room issue. His professionalism and kindness made a big difference.
