How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewThe staff were so helpful and will help you with anything. The room was clean and as shown in pictures. Valuable stay for price ( especially if you have car or rent a golf car which is available everywhere).
There’s no elevator And the food is limited ( need to be more variety of dishes). Its hard to get a taxi especially from taxi apps ( if you don’t have a car try to rent a golf car for smooth moving and not to waste time which is around 2000 to 3000 Egyptian pound per day).

Verified reviewThe staff were great, very polite and helpful, and when they knew it was my birthday they celebrated with singing and baking a cake. The reception staff were amazing, Abdullah, who drives the car and delivers people to the beach, is a very nice and respectful person.
It is a big disappointment because I saw on Booking that it is a resort but I discovered that it is just a small hotel, the beach is very far from the place you have to go by car of course the place provides a car to go and back and the swimming pool is also far from the place there is nothing around you except the rooms and a small restaurant, there is no attention to the corridors between the rooms, the stairs were very many to get to my room, it is impossible for me to go there again

Managment is disaster! They wake me up middle of the night because they want i change my parking place. Middle of the night. The person on reception just follow orders, manager keep saying stupid things that "this is regulations of the hotel" Unlikely this managment knows anything about managing such business and provides good services Regulations with no regulations!!! Rooms are kind of "tired" its weird if the place almost new 🤷♀️ I would prefer continue to rent apartment direct in Azzura while i in Sahl Hasheesh, never i had a problem there!

Verified reviewThe location is very fantastic but far away little bit from facilities and beach you need a car to go anywhere, the food is fair not the best and not fresh especially the vegetables not hot, the water is not cold to drink, the room is not big enough but the view is very good and the resort is clean and quiet
