Belmonte was such a beautiful village, with friendly locals and enchanting buildings. Plenty of fantastic restaurants, a Manchego cheese producer and bakeries. Restaurante La Muralla was our favourite. Belmonte castle is very interesting, and because they have a cafe there, you can easily spend half a day. Room with spa bath was large and comfortable. The lady on duty was trying to be helpful but as she spoke no English and we spoke little Spanish, communication was a challenge! Breakfast was good.
