No communal kitchen (or I don’t think there was any) but not a problem.

Beautiful place. This was the best sleep I had since i started the Camino few cars ago. The bunk beds were spacious , no lumps and bumps and bad curtains for privacy.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The food at their restaurant is very good. I recommend the zucchini cream soup and Castilian soup. Their chicken cooked in beer is tasty and succulent. Desserts were delicious, too. It’s a great place to rest and stay overnight after a long day of walking the Camino Frances.

This didn't affect my stay but the showers can be improved as a lot of water leaks out from both of the male showers and the bathroom floor was always flooded. Besides this small detail everything was better than I could have expected!

Hostel for pilgrims going to Santiago in a very picturesque small town in the middle of the road, however I was not a pilgrim during the moment of my stay and I was received by the owner of the hostel who kindly explained all the rules subject to share the room with other people that is walking for extensive hours from early every day. I agreed to these and brought my things to the room, which surprised me even more at first glance as everything was very clean and organized even if most of the beds were occupied. The building seems to have gone trough an extensive recent renovation and the spaces are in good condition and very nice overall. I took a nice warm dinner at the restaurant which was tasty and perfect for me after a long day of driving.

A charming small hotel on the Camino. Very friendly manager who let me into the room at 11.00. decor fitting an 18 century building. Very clean Excellent value for money. The stay was delightful.

The Hotel and Room is so comfortable and clean... Room is big as well as the toilet.. have token laundry and dryer.. he host is so helpful guidance us.. location is more east of the city... not the center but is ok since Castojeriz is a long shape city.. Its pity missed the mass on the Church and no time to visit the ruin Palace on top of the hill

Comfortable beds in a spacious room. Beautiful view from the terrace. It is a place where a tired pilgrim really can enjoy resting time. Best surprise during my camino so far :)

Great location in center of town. Owner speaks English well and helped us return a key by taxi to our previous hostel. Room very clean comfortable and roomy. We were in room 2 with a lovely territorial view. Very handy having a restaurant connected. We had dinner there and breakfast. All good.
