Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe enter/exit was through an app, which once you downloaded, was somewhat easy to navigate, however, I do worry for older people, people who are tech illiterate, or those without any roaming data/internet service. The app also said that the door was already locked when it was open, and visa versa which made it feel less secure. There was no physical key for the apartment. With the lock feature, it also didn't feel fully secure as it feels anybody could walk in at any time. The flat wasn't the easiest thing to find as there was no door number outside. It wasn't until we walked around and tried to enter another apartment block that an older woman told us "tourists aqui" and pointed to the apartment. It'd be great to maybe get some sort of number/sign outside to make it much easer. It was also super loud outside at night, whoever is sleeping on the couch will struggle with the sounds outside of people walking past, the bin lorries and loud cars throughout the night. It's also somewhat of a basement unit, so there's minimal outside light, and its quite dark throughout the day! The washing machine & dryer was a great addition, however, the washing machine was genuinely one of the loudest things I have ever heard - it honestly sounded like a helicopter was taking off during it's spin cycle. I turned it off as I didn't want the neighbours to be disturbed. The water in the bath also takes a long time to go down, so whoever was taking the final shower was standing in multiple peoples dirt.
The host was super easy to contact via WhatsApp and very responsive, which was a massive help. The area of the apartment is nice and within walking distance to some nice bars & restaurants. You can get the bus into the main city area, or walk 25 ish minutes to Sagrada Familia. It was a nice touch to have little water bottles on each bed when you entered the apartment. There was also a washer and dryer, dish washer, large fridge and microwave which was super handy for a multiple day stay. A beer bottle opener would have been a nice edition! The TV had lots of different apps to watch things on, including Netflix and YouTube - however, we were worried to turn it too loud based off other people's reviews of neighbours complaining. The coffee shop 365 on the end of the road was a bonus - definitely recommend there.

SpainIn the kitchen the electric stove needs to fix or change to a new one, it's dangerous, we already turned it off, but the next morning we woke up, it's on. There's a humidity spots in the bathroom that needs to clean it properly.
The apartment is perfect for a family with one kid.

United StatesI was told not to make noise after a certain time. However the neighbors didn't have the same courtesy.

United KingdomThe neighbours kept complaining all the time for the noise during day and night to , during the day we weren’t home at night during at night we couldn’t even talk or laugh with each other as they would complain all the time, not mentioning we couldn’t put music or anything else. Not very pleasant to be honest. The house was nice but horrible neighbours.
The property was very very good , the was was more nicer than the photos on the site and so clean. It was very worth it.
