Stay was ok, check in there was one receptionist only and it was only 7pm, but on a Sunday. Hoever, there wasn't any security either and two men came off the street and stole a laptop bag of a colleague from under our nose which checking in. With this happening a few times in Alcobendas, per the police, the hotel should have security or more than one person to ensure people in reception are customers. They were slow to react to the theft and not too concerned as it was not stolen by staff or customers.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room, and no iron or ironing board either. Also, no hair conditioner, they only gave shampoo. The "hot tub" was cold and didn't really bubble. Small issues, would still recommend, but good to know!

The hotel is very good value for money, the rooms were decent, and well maintained, and the lounge and bar restaurant was nice.

I have never seen so much inefficiency at the desk. Each time they were 4-5 people behind and none was properly paying attention to clients and me included. Many issues also for other people checking in. Each question they were moody or like breathing out... always asking you to wait... but they were just talking btw them?!?!? The waiting was not about a minute. I am talking about 10 min for questions. Beside that the facilities are great! Nice room, very well cleaned. One person at the desk was really helpful and friendly. Which she deserves a 5 stars! Shame I don’t remember her name (she had glasses and long hair) the rooftop is awesome!

Staff had difficulty with payment and tried to overcharge us twice. No real facilities around the hotel, nearest restaurants are a good 20 minute walk. Shuttle bus to train station doesn’t operate on weekends leaving you little choice but to get a taxi. Taxi cost 10 euros to station!

Room stank of cigarette smoke (I arrived at 11:30 so was too tired to ask to change rooms, plus the hotel was full of kids from a football team and I didn't want to risk ending up next to them). In the morning, the receptionist was hurried and didn't listen properly to taxi booking instructions, so had to call a second time to clarify.

Not bad but breakfast considering the price could be improved little bit...

I was there for business in the surrounding area but this is far from the city centre if needed a transfer. Good anyway the possibility to have free shuttle for the surrounding area. Very good wifi speed. Good the (small) swimming pool for a rest after business.

The bathroom.. The shower head was broken and the seals in the shower door useless which made the bathroom floor prone to flooding.. the food was expensive for the supplied menu.

The property was clean and comfortable with nice size rooms. The rooftop pool and gym were nice to use.

However, the hotel experience overall was average. Rooms were old, I could hear traffic through the closed window all night long and food at breakfast and room service were very average.

The shuttle driver was incredible, best service Ive received in a long time, he couldnt do enough to help me.

The only criticism was that we ate at the restaurant on the first night, the menu was very limited, not much choice and the stardard of food was disappointing, so we didnt have breakfast and chose to eat out during our stay. Also for a 4* hotel it would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The hotel was great, clean and modern and quite ! Only 15 min drive from airport and the free shuttle bus was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful no job was too much. The pool area with terrace was nice and relaxing. Ok location 30 min fron madrid city centre by taxi and train and not costly to travel this way. Great experience.

Staff are perfunctory, not warm. Place offers minimal aesthetics in terms of design and an attempt to make it appear inviting. Relatively far from the airport. I stayed because the ad said shuttle to airport, but i had to call on arrival and wait 15-20 minutes for pick up. Really just useful for people who work with or are visiting the businesses nearby. Price was decent enough. Not a neighborhood where you could go for a walk. You are stuck with their limited cafe services.

    Nice bathtub.

Free Airport-Shuttle only available from Monday - Friday (07:00 - 23:00). On the weekend a taxi is needed which costs about 30 EUR. Make sure to book the Airport Shuttle upfront by calling the hotel (we sent a request via booking.com one day upfront and did not receive a confirmation and called them). Although there are some nice restaurants and shops close it is not possible to reach them by foot as there are no footpath (highway / big roads / roundabouts). Therefore you even need the shuttle / a taxi to reach a restaurant or metro / train station.

Good value for money close to the airport (about 15min by car). Ideal location close to the airport for one night having an early departure. Friendly staff.

The hotel inside is quite plain as is the room. The room could have been a little cleaner and the bathroom design made it tricky to have the mat outside the shower cubicle. This is more of a business hotel and I was a tourist, but as I booked last minute it was the best price.

This hotel was quite modern, the staff were helpful, there is a shuttle from the airport on weekdays, the bed is comfortable and the shower was good. If traveling to the city by metro, allow one hour and be aware this hotel is in Zone B so you should buy a combination ticket.

About 10-15 minutes of a walk from the Marqués de la Valdavia metro stop, and you need to buy two tickets (€1.50 each) per person in order to get to Madrid (due to Alcobendas being in another zone). Along with this, it took an hour to get into Sol. If long travel times aren't a major issue for you, then this shouldn't be much of a problem :)

The staff were very helpful with explaining where to go in Madrid and how to get there, and the room was really nice and spacious. I didn't use the pool, but it looked great :) The hotel in general is really great.

Easy walking distance to a huge supermarket and an entertainment complex with plenty of places to eat, 10 pin bowling etc. Also right next door to the Science Museum! The location is good however to get to Madrid city centre is costly in a taxi one evening cost us around 30-40 euros. Using the shuttle service to try and come back to the hotel couldn't happen as the staff on reception couldn't understand English very well.

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and helped with every enquiry we had. The free shuttle service was very unexpected but made some trips a lot easier than they could have been. The hotel were very helpful when it came to letting us stay longer when our flight was delayed by 6 hours. The facilities and rooms were to die for and cheap considering the immaculate condition. The roof top pool and Jacuzzi is amazing. Me and my friends are already planning another trip to Madrid.

Staff were excellent. Receptionists spoke English and were incredibly willing and helpful on multiple occasions.

Breakfast too expensive so didn't have it.

Rooms large, separate adjoining room for children worked well.

no shelves in the shower - that's it:)

Clean and modern room; nice, good size bathroom. Great pool with heated water. Close to the metro. Quiet area, felt safe comming back late to the hotel. helpfull staff. Free airport shuttle came in handy. Very happy with our stay.

Decided to go on a hiking weekend for my boyfriends birthday, and choose the Amura because of their advertised rooftop Jacuzzi. After checking in we went right up to the roof and found a cold jacuzzi - very disappointed but called down to the desk and they said it would be fixed, tried our best to enjoy ourselves while continuing to call down, never warmed up. Next morning same thing. Tried to speak to the manager when checking out but they were unavailable. Received an email saying that they keep the jacuzzi at 30 degrees on purpose! So all the times they told us they were working on it, they were doing nothing, as apparently it was supposed to be that way (why on earth would a jacuzzi be at 30 degrees!?). The hotel itself is bland, as was the room. The bed turned out to be two twins pushed together (not comfortable) and had a sheet thrown overtop instead of a fitted sheet and did not have a mattress protector. The duvet also had two sheets instead of cover - how clean can all that be? The rooms do not have a coffee maker or tea available. The food we received from room service was just a chunk of over cooked meat between two slices of bread, nothing else.

    The breakfast was very nice.

Noise from motorway (for rooms located from this side), bathroom utensils rather cheap. Location for me was OK but for Madrid visitors can be a bit tricky.

Room was spacious, quite a good breakfast.
