Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Could use a second set of keys. Few things need attention ie broken handle in bathroom ( lock-in) coffee machine broken.
Excellent location and very secured. Easy to check-in.

Furnishings are on the budget end but in good condition and comfortable.
Excellent Location and reasonably quiet. Close to shops for basic food supplies and an easy walk to museums and restaurants. Excellent value for money and comfortable beds. The check in and checkout process was really easy and efficient.

Location is amazing but a little noisy as it is in the centre of things, but it wouldn’t put me off, bathroom drains smelt a little funky but not sure if this relates to the water shortage issues Spain is having again wouldn’t put me off as still overall great apartment in great location right in the heart of everything

Expected someone to meet us at the building and was a bit tricky gaining access via the phone. Noisy street cleaning lorry kept engine running at 5 am. Mirror in smaller bedroom would have been nice.
Lovely central location and the flat was clean with facilities that would have been great had our stay been longer. Lovely flat but more suitable for couple with kids due to bunk beds in second room.

Little bit noise from street in nighttime, Double bed could been softer, only 1 kitchen towel, fridge was freezing our food and coffee machine was leaking.

The locks seemed a little temperamental & turned different ways but the host was excellent at being on call to explain this.

The acoustics of the apartment are not that good,too many echoes,but satisfactory.
The location is ideal for going round the city,because it is in the heart of the Centro histórico the Malaga.

The property was in the center of Malaga and it was good but not at the same time, because of the parole chatting until midnight and so, if was a bit noisy but the location was amazing!!

The shower curtain "assembly" should definitely be fixed ;)
Excellent location in the city center. Very convenient to walk around and reach all the attractions on foot. Definitely recommend staying here when in Malaga.

Kitchen equipment should be replaced. The fridge freezes, the hob heats poorly.
Location is more than great! Very clear. Access to washing machine and dryer.

Bathroom toilet was located inside of the shower. Bathroom vanity lighting was non-existent.

The Wi-Fi was patchy at times which was frustrating.
The property was very convenient and central to restaurants, shops and places of interest for our short visit to Malaga. We found it comfortable with good facilities overall.

The bedroom is very small with a small double bed. The window looks out on yo a wall so it is very dark as well. Also we left a shirt in the wardrobe. As we had to leave the keys in the apartment we could not get back in to collect the shirt.We contacted the agency several times to tell them. We were staying in Malaga for another week and told them this. It took them about 10 days to answer and they said the shirt was not there but it definitely was. My partner had just bought it the day before.
Great location. Good sized living area.
