no air con in the rooms made for a very stuffy and heated room especially at night, struggled to sleep. based at the top of the hill so would need to get taxi up and down in the evening only about €4

The rooms were so warm, their are ceiling fans but this didn't help to cool the room. If the lifts are broken it's very difficult to get about if yih have any mobility issues. The beer on self serve wasn't cold enough. Food was miss labeled and could cause issues, items labeled as chicken were clearly pork or beef.

The staff are all amazing, everywhere was clean, pools were all great and clean. Plenty of loungers every day. Help yourself drinks variety was great. Amazing views.

major building work at neighboring property made lot of noise during day. it will go on for several months we think. nothing altamar can do.

a few small cockroaches in the bathroom, but we got them out. You can expect this in many hotels in GC. construction site noise from opposite the hotel (hardly their fault or anything they can do about that) The music from the entertainment area in the evenings could be just a little bit lower for our taste.

fantastic view from the "D-152" apartment. Big/large terrace. Great staff (cleaning and reception) Ventilator in the ceiling in both bedroom and living room. Great value at fair price.

Parking was uncomfortable as you always had to ask for the key on reception, go back to the parking area unlock the chain, park or unpark and get the key back to reception. Also getting to our room was a bit uncomfy too - had to walk all the way to the end, take the lift down and walk halfway back to where our room was. The lift was usually quite busy.

We loved the room, comfy with a huge balcony. The view is lovely. The staff was nice, especially the cleaning lady we met and the gentleman who fixed the lamp cover that broke while we were out, the receptionist who recommended restaurants. The restaurant of the hotel and the staff there was nice too, and we happened to witness live entertainment too. Oh, and the cats around are cute as well.

There was no air conditioning but lovely big fans in rooms ,lots and lots of steps . Not for anyone with mobility issues. Only one lift ..

Food lovely. Room large with amazing balcony and views. Great Facilities, large pool areas. Staff were really nice.

Unfortunately at the moment there is building work being carried out at the Puerto Azul opposite which entails heavy ground works / engineering . Although it can’t be helped the noise of pneumatic jack hammers going from 09:15 thru till 18:15 was enough for myself and daughter to move out, but not check out of the accommodation after 12 nights of our 21 night stay AI . We will no doubt be back there in the future .

Everything about the property comes up to the marque , good food , good location , nice friendly staff.

Last day during our check-out receptionist was rude - we stayed there 2 weeks and i didn't feel good last few hours of our stay because of his behaviour.

Amazing view from the balcony, comfy room, amazing and delicious food, kinda far from the beach but you can use taxi, friendly staff (except receptionist last day of our stay), cleaning lady and waiters were super friendly and nice. It was a great 2 weeks stay in this hotel.

Not prepared for self catering people,either waiting 20 minutes for service,don't have change for cash,card machine not working and follow you around checking you paid because you don't have band's,stayed in altamar self catering many times,sadly disappointed this time
