The room whilst clean was not as the picture on Booking.com Sparse, tired and tatty but functional. Had the image been as the room was, I wouldn’t have booked, however, location, cleanliness and staff helped.

Furnishings seemed a little random/disjointed and it was very paired back/basic which sometimes can feel a little off-putting.

It was a simple room, everything was clean, location was great. No frills, but breakfast in the morning was nice and staff was friendly and helpful. **Note when checking in you press the "Appartments" button at the address and they will buzz you in.

1. No clear sign with the name of the apartment on it, it was very difficult to locate the place. 2. AC wasn't working. 3. One breakfast option. 4. The property number was actually different from the number booking.com has, this is why my calls were never answered! 5. I have requested a room with two single beds two months before my arrival, still the room wasn't ready upon our arrival.

There was no sign of the hotel in the building or something stated about the hotel . The hotel was on the 2nd floor of the building and was very difficult to find as there was no bill board or something like that on the gate of the building. Needed locals help and about an hour to find it . Was trying to call but nobody was answering the phone And the staff was sleeping when we reached there. It was way overpriced as for the services given.

The location is perfect: nice neighbourhood and very well connected (bus and metro very close). It is clean and great water pressure. You will find a big window that faces internally.

The mattress is a bit firmer than Im used to, but for a few nights this was fine.

The receptionist Jinky was very accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we could not get in contact with them to let them know of the later check in time. There was no issue on our arrival and the room was in a spotless condition. The breakfast that was included was really good too. Simple eggs and ham with lots of bread, fruit and cereal options available. The air conditioning was a bonus and was quite powerful.

Not how it looked in the pictures. The furniture was tatty, marked and worn. The shower was covered in black mould and the bedroom just looked shabby. The shower was also broken. Breakfast was ok but there were no facilities to make tea/coffee at any other time. The walls were very thin so you could hear other guests. I was very disappointed. Glad I didn't spend much time actually there!

The hardware in apartment really can not march it's cost. We paied a very very high cost, higer than downstair hotel, but all the hardware are bad. Like the toilt, it broken 2 times, and dirty water all around the bathroom, can not use it at all. Really bad experiences. And noisy when you use any water, hardware too old there. Most important is high cost, i don't know why booking recommand this one to me, maybe because the commission to them. And when we want to cancel one night, they just told us no, we can not, really unhappy.

Some croissant and bread will offer every morning, also milk or juice, coffee,etc., Not bad breakfast, and Jioksan is enthusiastic to us.

I was advised at a very late stage that the bath in the room I had reserved broke and We had to be put in another accomodation . When I arrived in barcelona airport , I phoned the number we were given at confirmation , but no answer . I went thus to the hotel . The lady there was helpful and she said that the phone number we were given was the office number and at that time it was closed . She gave us the new adress where we were put . We had to go by taxi . The accomodation was in the gothic quarter . It was ok safe that the aeration in the bathroom was very noisy , and the insulation from the street noises was not adequate .

A sign showing where the apartments where, would be a great start. Rooms are not as shown in the pictures. Water kept going cold. One of the room you where unable to flush toilet paper but the bin was not emptied over the three days. They served out of date food at breakfast. Paid the security deposit and they refused to pay it back saying it was city tax.

Location, honestly that’s about it. Let us switch to a double room.

The room that I have been accommodated at had nothing to do with the pictures I saw while making the booking. The only reason I stayed there after my arrival was that we were too tired after the journey to make any other arrangements. The pictures available at the booking.com did not show the real standard of the room we were offered. I've been choosing booking.com for years and never have I ever been so disappointed and unpleasantly surprised. I would definitely not recommend staying there based on the provided pictures/information. In conclusion, bear in mind not only poor standard of accommodation but also extremely high price for absolutely nothing :(

The ONLY good thing about this place was the location, the restaurants nearby, and close, walking distance to La Rambla.

-no reception -no instructions given prior arrival, I had to figure it out how to enter the property asking for help from one of the residents at 2am -they don’t answer emails or the phone in the Booking.com (you can imagine how desperate I was starring at the closed gates at 2am and trying to contact them) -there aren’t courtesy coffee in the room -there isn’t room service to change the bed -there isn’t any shampoo or any toilet item; only toilet paper -they didn’t accept my free cancellation request after 8 hours I booked the room and a month before the trip -the photos on booking.com does not match with the reality. everything needs better maintenance, equipment and cleaning -every room has a ridiculous pump behind the toilet, that will trigger for any waste water making a very loud sound. You can also hear the neighbour’s pump, and kids shouting as there seem to be a school next to your window -breakfast is coffee and scrambled eggs prepared by a one staff does all type of business -you cannot say it’s an apartment because there is only a bed and toilet, and you cannot say it’s a hotel because there isn’t any room service

I booked a room at this hotel and got a mess. On the morning of the day we were supposed to arrive in Barcelona, ​​I received an email announcing that due to some problems with the toilet in the room I had booked, they had to give me another room. they sent me another location, another address, at a much greater distance from the airport (So i had to pay double the taxi). when I arrived it was horrible. the room was very small, dirty, on the 5th floor of a building that was almost collapsing. The ballcony was small and full of objects and dust. the curtains were extremely dirty, as was the iron. the so-called kitchen (a 1 m improvisation) was dirty, with a broken cupboard, a few dirty plates and a hob as well. I paid for a room with breakfast included but breakfast did not exist. The tv does not work. I was then told that it was an extra central location, but that wasn't true either. when I asked for explanations I received a new email in which they told me that in fact there is a positive covid in the hotel and that is why they changed the location. lies over lies. I do not recommend it to anyone and I will do this "advertisement" on all sites. they ruined my vacation.
