Slightly out of the way in a residential area but can get taxis really easily.

Breakfast was extremely good with lots of choice. Staff helpful, friendly and efficient. Hotel clean, with a lovely pool and garden- very quiet area. Best bit is being adult only. In the spa is nice and the relaxing massage was very good.

Located in great and quite neighbourhood, 20 minutes walk from main cathedral, less then 10 minutes walk from the marina and the sea. Many great details inside the hotel, like in some small museum. Coffee and food were good with a nice terrace by the pool. Staff is very friendly.

Decor , flooring requires soma attention and air fresheners a little overpowering.

Food was okay not exceptional however the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Only stayed two nights and didn't have breakfast. It looked okay but opted for a bar snack instead.

Swimming pool unfortunately closed at the time of my visit.

Amazing rooms with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan above the bed, what a luxury! It was such a pleasure staying at Hotel Araxa. Cosy atmosphere, stylish decoration, great staff, and a fantastic garden to relax with a cool drink.

The location is a bit far from main attractions, the cleaning time is inconsistent (sometimes 4PM, other time 9AM)

Clean, kind personnel, spacious room with balcony, tv with foreign channels. The bar of the hotel had a good coffee and food.

Water pressure in the shower was a little low but only a tiny problem.

Quirky little hotel. Very friendly and comfortable with great facilities. Rooms were lovely with generous sized balcony and setting was very pretty and quiet. A little out of the centre but only 25 mins pleasant walk. Would recommend.

The walls - at least around the single room where I stayed on the first floor - were like cardboard. This meant I was disturbed by the noise from the room next to mine, of the lady returning to her room after midnight while talking, and then playing loud music at 8:30 the next morning before appearing to speak endlessly on the phone...also no water provided in the room, meaning the only option in the hotel is to buy a small bottle for €2 from a vending machine...

The snack menu was fine, but the food offered on the a-la-carte and set menus were a bit indifferent at times.

Hotel was spotless. Reception staff excellent. Rooms (with garden view) kept absolutely spotless, and cleaned every day; credit to the hotel! Bar and restaurant area very good, and the breakfasts were excellent, with a terrific choice

Love the quirkiness. Always very clean and very pleasant common areas as well as in rooms. Super breakfast and we dined in for two evenings enjoying a very reasonably priced and good menu of the day. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Good to check in early and leave luggage securely in designated area. Gym and spa facilities offered too but we did not have time to use these unfortunately.

Can be loud overnight in the corridors but easily fixed with a pair of earplugs

Great location with easy 30min walk to the city center or 15min walk to the castle- also close to bus stops for getting to/from the airport. Lobby/reception/restaurant areas were so nice and comfortable, could easily spend the whole day here. Room was spacious, great view of the pool and garden, lovely big bathroom and shower! I felt very safe as a solo email traveller and staff were really helpful! Definitely need to come back to try the pool and spa!

The hotel is not far from the center. I liked the hotels itself. It is clean, the decoration is very nice, the restaurant is great, and the staff are very helpful. I higly recommend this hotel and I will come back.

We were in room 120 which was above dining room, so tables and chairs scraping the floor was noisy !!

Really pleasant place to stay, comfy beds, mostly good food. Nice to sit outside in the afternoon sun after walking around the town, and relax with tea or beer. 30 min walk into town, or bus option close by.

Little bit of noise from passing traffic during daytime and nearby church chimes but thankfully not at nighttime.

Loved the quirkiness., very tastefully achieved . Eclectic mix but really worked well. Comfortable lounge bar and relaxed atmosphere in the bar and restaurant.
