Pleasant place, loved Zahara, hotel was inexpensive but lacked charm for a place in the mountains.

Breakfast was disappointing. No fresh fruit, very little choice of breads only hard boiled eggs. Very basic, only ate there once. Much better breakfast at the cafe/bars in town.

Quiet location, great view from the room.

Nothing really - the rooms are basic and can feel a bit cold and not cozy, but the view makes up for everything!

The location - the views from the room are really as in the pictures, you see the lake, it is so peaceful and quiet. There is a fairly new and spacious bathroom, there is a heater you can turn on - the night was still cold in early May. The guy at the reception helped us to arrange a taxi to Algodonales which basically saved our life as there are no buses out of Zahara during weekends/public holidays and no taxis to be seen otherwise.

It was cold in the room and it could not be properly heated. Smelt musty. Breakfast was a joke (toast, coffee and juice. Not even an apple.)

Good view. Central location. Big room, big bathroom.

As the property was rated a bit low, my expectations were low so I was pleasantly surprised. The beds were comfortable, the view awesome and the upper location in the village was great. The continental breakfast was more then just toast and you could order eggs if interested. We even eat a dinner there and it was quite good and a pleasant evening.

The hotel and furniture has very old style, like 80s. Could be good for the hotel rooms and showers a small renovation. I would also make the windows bigger - as it could have amazing view from the rooms.

The location is amazing, a bit hard to find it with a car, could be good to have signs across the city. You have an amazing view from the Hotel roof.

    Nothing - entirely satisfied.

The location overlooking the lake was superb. For a Two Star hotel, it was excellent value-for-money. Checking-in was easy; our bedrooms had the view of the lake; the rooms appeared to have been freshly painted with good furniture; the ensuite shower room was extremely good; there was a very useful portable oil heater to take the chill off in the evening. The continental breakfast was basic (tea, coffee, toast with a variety of spreads) but perfectly adequate.

Breakfast was literally toast, butter and jam with one cup of coffee. Next time would definitely go to town for breakfast (2 min walk). Wifi didn't work in room but it was good in reception area and breakfast room although it wasn't too important for me.

Location and parking excellent. View is amazing from the room (had a lake-view room) and from the breakfast room and even more stunning from the tower on the top the hill (the path starts from next to the hotel and you do want to walk up there!!!) Probably would stay again.

Without a GPS, I doubt I ever would have found his hotel. Not the fault of the hotel, just the directions. It's at the end of a one way, Up-Up-Up hill drive through a town square. Great assuming you don't hit a civilian or scrape your car.

The view was spectacular, staff nice, room OK. But, to get there, see "Don't Like" (even though it wasn't really a don't like).

The hotel is very dated. It is need of Modernisation. We were given the key and we went down and the first thing we noticed that the carpet was torn in two and it was a hazard as you could easily have tripped on it. And of course it looks awful. The rest of the carpet was stuck with clue to the floor. We have never seen anything like it! The key was not functioning! We were then given the room next door which had broken tiles! The bathroom was a disgrace. Bathroom door was rotten at the bottom. Toilet basin was not functioning property. The matresses were so old and uncomfortable! It is was a disgrace!! It was well below standard and we still payed 90 Euros for the 2 nights.

The views from the hotel were so beautiful!!

Sadly the hotel does not live up to its location or its potential. Our room was clean and freshly painted, but the bathroom was semi-clean and in need of refurb. WiFi signal is mostly nonexistent. There seemed to be just one staff member each day who had to do reception, bar, restaurant and everything else. Tugasa need to get a grip, invest some money in this place, do it properly instead of the half hearted approach they currently have ...... then this hotel would be fabulous and they would easily get their investment back.

This hotel is in the most stunning location, at the top of the beautiful Zahara village - spectacular!! The hotel has masses of potential, it could be fantastic. I would love to buy it and make it into the hotel it should be.

Most of the staff weren't really friendly, nor welcoming. The breakfast was worth nothing: just toast + small cups of different sorts of meat and jam but nothing fresh, very dissapointing. The juices contained lots of sugar. One of the two beds was very uncomfortable because of a bump in the matress. Everything in the room and bathroom was run down. The water stayed in the shower so we made a complaint; later in the afternoon we noticed that it had been fixed. Must have been a nice hotel but not anymore.

The location was fantastic, from our room we overviewed the lake and beautiful surroundings. Zahara is a lovely village and from the hotel you're in the center in 5 minutes.
