Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOvernight there was some noise outside, I think caused by deliveries to the supermarket opposite.
On arrival the door appeared to be locked but we rang the bell and a lady answered. It was apparent that they were busy with lunch service in the award winning restaurant. She called her son who spoke very good English and he was very helpful regarding what there was to do in the area on a Sunday, public transport and even offered to help us book a train. The building and interior are attractive and charming. Our rooms were small but clean, bright and, comfortable with a kettle, herbal tea, shampoo and body wash and a good shower. There was a guest’s sitting room opposite. Sadly, we didn’t get the opportunity to use the restaurant.

United KingdomSmaller sized room because of the location of the building in the Old Town which was fine for me because I was out and about exploring Antequera.
The staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. Main guy (sorry I don’t remember names only faces) was so good helping me organise a memorable trip to Caminito del Rey at short notice. Wonderful building, nice having a lounge room with tea facility. Great tapas and restaurant attached.

SpainThe hotel is located in a great location for walking the city center. The restaurant at the Arte Cozina was very good. Service was friendly and good. There is no lounge area. That would have been nice to have in the lobby. When your not use to open bathroom to bedroom, takes a little getting use to. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hotel in the center to get around by foot.

United StatesMy room faced the street so there was some street noise.
This is a well-kept, family-run accommodation in a central area of town. Staff were courteous and friendly. Private and public parking are available nearby. The hotel building itself is old but updated. There are local artifacts on display in common areas. The room was fine; everything worked well, including the air conditioning. The family also operates a restaurant and tapas bar. The tapas bar had interesting wine and vermouth offerings.

United StatesThere were some communication problems probably owing to my poor Spanish but I think there could have been more follow through on part of management too. It was related to food and the restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. The host asked if I would like to eat the night I arrived and I said yes and confirmed with him the time the restaurant would be open, but when I went to try to eat there it was completely closed, empty, dark. So I didn't eat that night because I was starting to have a cold and didn't want to go out in the rain and wind. The following day while waiting for my cab I tried to have lunch there and sat in the bar area and asked if I could order food there. They said yes. They brought me the full menu and I ordered a caldo. When it came it was a cup of broth only and it became clear they were giving me something from the bar menu instead. Then it was too late to correct because my taxi was coming so I left very hungry and no one noticed. They were very busy as it is a popular place and that's just how it goes, but probably it would not be my first choice to eat again. The cup of broth was delicious however. It really made me want that big bowl even more!! The flavor was wonderful like the puchero I remember from childhood. The other detail is about the room: the bathroom light was not working. Not a big deal and easy to fix. Last thing: I can't get used to those long bed pillows that you can't stack up or shape to your liking. But they are popular in Spain
Beautiful place in the Centro. Friendly host was flexible about arrival time. Very quiet, clean and comfortable.

CanadaThis family owned hotel has all the charms of it’s owners. Reminds me of a ryad we stayed in Marakesh. The owners are very nice and you must eat at their coccina. The food is amazing prepared by the mother as chef and her team. Off the beaten path but so worth it. Thank you.

A wonderful little traditional hotel in the center of the village. Room spotlessly clean - although some might say small, it was perfect for our stay. And great food in the bar and restaurant.
