The hotel is very clean and the staff are very attentive and professional. A big shout out to Michele from the front office who went out of her way to make our stay extraordinary. The housekeeping and in room dining staff were also great, not forgetting the staff at the ground floor who welcome visitors with smiles every time of the day. The room we had was great and had a panoramic view of the city and the sea. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody who wants the best of everything.

We were charged for an additional half of our stay after checking in and paying in full. The amount was refunded when we brought it up but a request to speak to a managerial staff after it happened went unanswered. We had to call housekeeping one day to remind them to come clean the room

The whole stay was truly exceptional, we went to celebrate my cousin’s birthday and she had the most amazing time. The staff, hotel and everything was incredible! I’m looking forward to coming back in the near future again

Lack of power outlets in the room.

Very friendly staff and great view from the room, which was very large and comfortable. Amazing bed. Any issues we had were resolved quickly and efficiently but were overall minimal. The location is great for the beach and the city, with a metro two minutes walk or cheap cabs available to take you around just outside. Very secure also, with guards checking access outside (they were very friendly) and key dependent access to elevators.

For a 5* Hotel the Amenities were absolutely scarce - and that I am not used to at all for a luxury hotel! I missed the sewing kit and the pralines and the small soaps ect - the big bottles are rather something for a 3 and 4 *! And putting it under ecological reasons does not make it better as the prices thereafter did not go down either except the service. The air condition unfortunately was too strong and it was getting extremely cold and the sink underneath was dripping. The shower was not getting warm because the handle was somehow broken !

The layout of the room was great the view from the suite was absolutely stunning over the bay and the city! Due to the position of the hotel everything was within reach!

The mattress was just OK for me but too firm for my wife, who has arthritis in her hips so needs a soft mattress. Her mobility suffered as the week went on.

The air conditioning was not working the night we stayed so it was uncomfortably hot inside the room, the staff brought 2 fans for either side of the bed so sleeping was bearable. When we were taken up to the 43rd floor to our suite, the receptionist up there was not expecting us and made us wait over 20 mins whilst she summoned housekeeping to check the room was okay for us to go into, before she would issue us with the key cards, we felt this was unnecessary, especially after a long day travelling, we just wanted to go in to our room, freshen up and go for a long walk, but were made to wait with our cases by the reception desk on the top floor.

Beautiful presidential on the top floor with great views of the city and beach, breakfast was incredible, all the staff were very friendly, the check in staff were very pleasant and professional.

Everything was at the highest level. We’ve spent some magical moments at this hotel and enjoyed every second of it. The view was spectacular, the rooms big and clean, the staff absolutely impressive and made our stay memorable. One of our best stays at a 5 star hotel. They went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday to remember and I am really pleased that we chose this hotel. Alex the Concierge booked the best restaurants for us and made us have a true culinary experience in Barcelona! Thank you for that! Breakfast impeccable, the 2 Michelin star restaurant to die for! I highly recommend this hotel if you want to have a true 5 star experience.

The hotel did amazingly well. However if hard pressed for some suggestions to improve, the checkin time was slow in my case due to some computer failure but could be one off issue. Also there is some construction going on in the property which while drilling makes lot of sound. This was not informed prior to checkin.

The attentiveness and hospitality of the hotel staff is next level. I have stayed in many premium luxury hotel and must admit that this hotel is amongst the best. The beach front location, Room size, upkeep of amenities was superb. Can't recall all the names of staff who always went out of the way for all we wanted. Very happy with our stay and highly recommended for the families.

Furniture all chipped and battered now

The stay was lovely but the hotel is in need of a revamp. It is now looking battered and tired and old. But it cannot command 5 star prices because it really is a 3 - 4star now. But very nice if pitched at that level

There must have been a space for wind to get in to the roof above our room, as it creaked and whistled all night long and resulted in us all sleeping awfully, reception were very kind and gave us complimentary breakfast. parking was expensive.

Amazing room, loved the rainfall shower and loveseat, my son loved the bath, great fresh breakfast and loved the fresh juice options, incredible service at reception, restaurant and concierge, taxi was basically immediately available downstairs with the help of the efficient hotel staff, bed was huge and so comfortable.

Chair below mattress same color as carpet when you enter and when lights are deemed you don't notice it Therfore its hurts a lot in the legs when you heat it as very pointy not enough sponge to make it safer Also beds are very sharp on the corners the mattress does fit well so risky again had knocked myself at night
