Very perfect and central location and a spacious private room!

It is on a Main Street so quite noisy with traffic into the late hours of the evening.

Location was the best thing about this place...

We were looking specifically for hotels with parking, and as we got there we were told that the parking is 15 minutes walk from the hostal which is not acceptable when it claims to have parking. Of course there was also nowhere to unload our luggage in the busy street of Madrid and walking with suitcases 15 minutes is not something we planned on. The receptionist on the phone was quite rude about it and did not provide any solution.

Great location in the heart of Madrid — perfect for walking everywhere. The reception staff was very friendly, and our room was spacious. The mattress was a bit firm for me, but my friend liked it.

The hotel is a bit old and has some cracks, but it looks like renovations are underway. Overall, a convenient stay with great service.

In particular the location, was incredible near to everything in Madrid, you easily can do all the important stop walk from the hostal. The room was comfy including bed, we had a spacious balcony with no view but use full to take a break.

The receptions staff, I wrote in the app before arriving at the hostal (explaining the arriving time as 10-11am and the hosts told me that if the room was available they would give it to us immediately if not, they would keep our luggage) When we arrived at the Hostal the receptionist was unfriendly and when we mentioned the messages in the app she ignored them and increased her voice and told us that nobody could give us a room at 10am which was disappointing the way that she spoke with us. It is a good hostal but they must improve the customer service.

The location is fantastic. The street is relatively quiet and less busy, but very close to Sol square. I even saw movie people filming on this street. Room is pretty small but it has all the essentials and very clear. Met all my needs. There was room service (making the bed, changing towl) everyday! Staffs are very helpful too. Helped me booked early morning taxi to the airport. In all, it has been a great experience staying here.
