Rather dated and tired rooms. Scruffy raw cement ceiling on terrace. Thin sheets and towels.

Great location for bars and restaurants . Good value for a short stay.

    Horrible Spanish pillow.

Quiet, side sea view from balcony, everything as it should be. Excellent buffet dinner and breakfast, average entertainment. Would stay again.

The range of choices for breakfast was very good but the quality was poor.

The room and bathroom were good with a small terrace overlooking the town. Both were clean. Location was close to town centre and a short stroll to the beach. The rooftop pool and terrace looked good with fantastic views, although we stayed only one night and didn't use these. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast- not bad but not amazing Really bad noise in my bathroom from the ceiling- like a water tank refilling. Reception said it was people upstairs using the bathroom so whenever they flushed it sounded like the ceiling was about to cave in. It was probably just my room though

The food was awlful. Although the selection of salads were good (however I doubt they can go wrong placing a bowl of lettuce, cucumber etc...) it was the meat and fish in my opinion not of high quality. The meat and fish was tough and tasteless and overlooked. On the subject of food they put hamburger one night in which the kids were pleased but there wasn't any complements for the burger i.e. Burger roll, slice cheese, sliced tomates, onions etc very odd..... The Spanish ham, Ham, salami etc looked dried and as if it had been sitting there for days. As for the fresh salmon they cooked on the grill in front of you.....the colour of the salmon was of putting.

Staff were very friendly and willingness to assist. The hotel clean. Hotel is close to shops, bars and restaurants and close to markets. However hotel was in a quiet location.

Central location, when there are plenty of guests in the hotel the buffet breakfast and dinner had a wide choice, the view from the swimming pool is beautiful. Not quite a 4 star hotel, but the price-quality ratio is very good, I would come back here

No tea or coffee facilities in the room. I was not at all impressed with the food , very poor! What i did eat i had to microwave as most things that should be hot where cold! There seemed to be a segregation policy in the restaurant. All coach party's one end and the rest the other end of restaurant.. Which left a very big divide in the room. Lifts are also a problem , only 2 for the hotel, very slow.

The central location was vey good. though my

More veg on the evening meal and fruit salad on the breakfast menu. The dining was huge and with little atmosphere but this can be due to the fact that they cater for large groups.

Swimming pool terrace was lovely with great views over the Med. The buffet meal were good and the evening entertainment very got us dancing.

Staff weren't that nice, not swimming pool area for the kids, no playing area for kids, food was horrible, worst was the breakfast.. Eggs bacon etc...they were left on the hot plate for long time, ... They reuse almost everything from when we arrive.. Like cheese in the continental breakfast

Room was nice, beds were comfy

No view. High concrete balcony that you couldn't see out of. Shower didn't hang on the wall so had to hold it. Water poured round the seal onto the floor no matter how careful you were.

The wifi signal was weak and when you did connect it was deathly slow. You have to pay 12€ a night for parking, something a 4 star hotel should off for free.

The room stayed very cool and was great for sleeping. It was in a great location for all of the tapas bars and restaurants. Also very close to the beach.

The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't use the balcony because we could not get onto the balcony with the wheelchair A small wooden ramp would be perfect

Everything about the hotel was excellent we had a fabulous time there and everyone did everything we possibly could to help us with the wheelchair ecetera. Only a small snack for us was that we were unable to use the balcony

When sitting for the Evening Meal it felt like breakfast, but it was worth the small extra cost (2e per day), but the cost seamed to reflect the set up. The town is very close as is the beach, however it does seam to be another slowly "dying" Spanish resort (Nerja nearby was not). The hotel was not a bad place however and was well located to what Almunecar offered, and it may be that we simply did not find its good spots.

Location to town, Breakfast plentiful nearby street parking possible if wanted. We were not impressed with the overall feel of the break (in general) and although we will not be returning, it was still well priced and good value based on the low cost that we paid for the weekend and we had no problems with the hotel or its staff.
