I couldn't find the check-in desk because there was literally no staff anywhere. I had to message the hotel on the booking.com app to let them know I was there. Then when I checked out, same problem. The lock for my door was insanely stiff. I needed two hands to move the key to open it, it was like a fight every time I needed to go in my room.

The location to siam park and the beach was great. Close to lots of restaurants and shops too. Relatively clean. View from the balcony was good.

It’s a shame that the wider hotel is in a bit of a state of disrepair - not that there’s much the owners of the apartment can do about that - my assumption is that the “hotel” element that supports/ maintains the wider property has gone out of business?

Perfect self-contained apartment, very clean, good to have kitchen amenities, only a short walk to the beach and both Adeje and Las Americas

Very good location, the room was clean and good! It also has a sea view from balcony! Its 200m from the main bus station Costa Adeje. In case you rent a car, you can also find lots of free parking around the bus station and the hotel. There is small supermarket nearby, lots of restaurants, bars... The only minus is, that the hotel is still under renovation process, but that didnt bother us.

It's a really strange building, half-dismissed or under renovation. Sometimes was also kind of creepy and we didn't feel 100% secure even if there is surveillance at the entrance.

It was a nice room at the first impact and the Host Marco was really friendly.

It's a ghetto. Terrible price/value ratio. Read Google reviews about Hotel Ponderosa in Teneriffe: this will be your location. Small room. Rusty water. No service in the room (no cleaning in 5 days). Old hotel. One slow elevator. Everything is old and degrading. You will hear every little sound your neighbours make. Unfriendly terrible reception (it's a hired separate organization. They don't care about guests and service). This can't stay unnoticed. Never again.

Room was generally grubby, tired and need tlc. The same could ve said for the hotel in general. The general atmosphere was quite intimidating. We had the brown water out the bathroom tap the last day like others have mentioned.

Bathroom towels old and smelling like wet doq. Dark brown tap water. No housekeeping of the communal areas and facilities. Construction noise happening in the building from early morning. Unfriendly staff. Drugs users living there, smoking weed at all times of the day and making lots of trouble, dumping their trash in front of my door too. In general the worst holiday experience.

Wifi didn't work which was needed for work. It's normally around 60-70 euro a night but I was paying nearly 100 euro a night. Expensive for what it was. Very small as well

Great location, everything is nearby. Very tidy, available car rental, organization of excursions around the island, washing machine and dryer in the hotel. A perfect vacation spot for young and old, families and singles, friends...everyone. Communication with the owners is perfect, they respond very quickly and are available to help. Before check-in and after check-out, we could leave our luggage at the hotel for free and continue our stay on the island. Very spacious room with private balcony and swimming pool inside the hotel. :)

Location was impossible to acess,google would point to adjoining property. Place was dirty looked like it was ready for the wrecking ball. Greeted by a shady looking individual dressed in his speedos,his main concern was that we give him our passports for booking. We felt very unsafe in a dingy,badly lit greeting space. I would not recomend this place unless your on the run.

Not sure if there is even anyone who works there. It’s more like a apartment block for the locals, not tourists. It’s also not called ‘Bamboli’ it’s called something completely different, was walking around looking for it and asking random people if they knew but no one and even the taxi driver has never heard of Bamboli

To start with, the location of the hotel was quite unclear. We didn't know where to go. There are also two locations of the hotel with approximately the same name on Google maps, which makes it very unclear. If you visit this hotel you have to be at: Hotel Apart Ponderosa (Hotel A. Ponderosa). The hotel looks a bit skechty. The main entrance seemed closed so we had no idea where to go, eventually someone yelled in Spanish, while we don't speak Spanish, that we had to come through a strange side entrance. (During the whole stay we did not see the person who rents out these rooms, only spoke via Whatsapp with all the information we basically needed). The employees at the reception were very unfriendly and could not speak a word of English. We were yelled at and they were swearing to us with bad words which I did understand. This happened both times during check-in and check-out. Fortunately, we were able to communicate a little bit with Google Translate. The apartment in general could have been much cleaner. Furthermore, the water was extremely dirty (yellow in color). Sometimes there were also cockroaches in the hotel room and bathroom. Furthermore, the WiFi was quite bad, it was slow and unstable. This also applies to normal 4G coverage. Furthermore, the room was very noisy, especially the last days when people started working with a drill right above our hotel room, we were literally shocked awake by the unannounced work. And in the evening we could enjoy the sexual intercourse of our neighbors. And I don’t really understand why it was needed to text me via Whatsapp and not via Booking.com directly. You are not my family or friends I talk with on Whatsapp. I find that very unprofessional.

The hotel was in a pretty good location with easy access to everywhere. There was a bus station nearby and other cozy towns such as Costa Adeje & Playa de Las Americas. The room also had a nice view of the mountains and the sea. We liked that there was a TV, although the Spanish channels are nothing to us at all and the TV signal was lagging. Fortunately, we had a Chromecast with us so that we could watch what we wanted. There was also a bath and plenty of towels and toilet paper. The bed itself was comfortable. It was also nice that there was a fridge.

We found a huge coach roach, but I sure think it was there by mistake. After all is a tropical island, and it did happened to me once more when visiting Tenerife.

We had a great time at this accommodation. We didn't spend that much time in house, so our requirement were delivered by this place. The room is small, but it has everything you need. A comfy bed,a tv, a mirror, some equipment to cook and a huge balcony so you can enjoy your morning coffee, with a beautiful view. The accommodation is near the supermarket, the beaches and the night clubs. We will sure chose the same place.
