Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilBed is not so comfortable, but fair for the price I have paid. Reception area is a bit small. The fridge was totally empty when i have arrived, not even water was offered, I needed to go to the supermarket and buy it.
The room that I chose was spacious, with a long corridor after entering the room, which gave me some extra space. The bathroom had a continuous countertop, with plenty of space for all my make ups, toiletries and cosmetics. Shower had a clothesline and hangers for 2 towels, which is good because I like to organize everything very well in my room. The room for suitcase was also enough for 1 big suitcase + 1 small. Location is very very good and convenient, close to El Corte Ingles, famous stores and supermarket, well placed in Salamanca neighborhood.

FranceThe only downside was the hospitality. The property provided just one small bottle of water for the entire stay, which felt quite insufficient. Basic amenities like complimentary drinking water in the room were lacking, and I believe such small gestures go a long way in making guests feel welcome given that we paid quite a premium price for booking this property.
The property is located on one of Madrid’s most prestigious and luxurious streets, Calle de Goya — an address that truly reflects old money. I absolutely love this street; it offers everything within walking distance: charming cafés, lively bars, high-end shops, pharmacies, and salons. Connectivity is excellent as well, with both a metro station and bus stop just steps away. Situated right on the main road, the property is easy to find and perfectly positioned for city living. Inside, the interiors are modern and stylish, with well-proportioned rooms and spacious bathrooms that add to the overall comfort and appeal.

GermanyExpected more for the price range and a 4 stars, the air conditioner (terrible) was a big problem, even tried to complain at the reception but there’s nothing you can do, the minimum temperature at the room was 23° (if you let it open all day long). At summer with Madrid being 40° … for me was not even close to refreshing or enough.

SpainThe gym didn’t have the right space for more than 2 people working out at the same time. It is one of those places they put some machines to say they have a gym.
The room had amazing light and space. The bed was really comfortable.

United StatesThe elevators. I was assigned to the 8th floor room and the elevators were eternal. My room had three windows but you could not see outside. And that really felt suffocating I didn’t like it I had a bit of anxiety. It’s a beautiful clean room gorgeous decor but not sure why you can’t see considering that I was in a room with windows located on different sides.
Location if you plan on staying in specific area in Salamanca.

United KingdomThe curtains in the room are see through so not only was the light coming in early but we were visible to the building opposite. Not necessarily the hotels fault, but there was construction happening nearby so it was really loud early in the morning.
Check in/out was very smooth. Location is excellent and easy access to lots of areas.

PeruService of some of the staff. One night, at 11 I asked for a cup and a small spoon because there was an electric kettle and some tea bags that one can use, but they don’t give you for serve it on… I called the front desk and a lady told me that it was too late and nobody had anything like that, that maybe if ai went down to the restaurant and asked for it, maybe they could give them to me. I just didn’t drink tea. Also the don’t facilitate the Netflix app but they facilitate Chromcast so that you can stream your own Netflix from your electronic device onto the room tv, but the service was broken. I asked when they were going to fix it but they said that the person that did that wasn’t going to come for the whole weekend. So had to watch Netflix on my phone.
Location was great. Room was very comfortable and clean. Shower was really good and powerful… a lot of water.
