Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe roof terrace is not fully finished but seats allowed us to enjoy the amazing view.
The view from our room was incredible and the host very welcoming and friendly although he sadly wasn’t feeling great during our stay. Breakfast very nice and location superb and we would definitely return.

NorwayI like everything, but I hope the terrace/rooftop has been done up before my next visit.
Juan was the perfect host, so friendly and sharing all his knowledge about this beutiful village and where to eat and what to see. Our room had an amazing view and the bed was very comfy. A spacious bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. Unfortunately we did not have breakfast but we heard great things about it. The house is very charming down a quiet street but very close to everything.

SpainEverything was great.
Juan is an amazing host. He made us feel very welcome, gave us a map with the highlights of the town, recommended great restaurants, he showed us around the house and the best of all was, he made us feel like home. Definitely book with the breakfast included. It was a real treat. He prepared everything with love to details and we felt like home. The place is very clean, situated in the old town, walking distance from the main attractions. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. Better park at Paseo de Andalucia and walk there, the old town streets are quite narrow and it's a nice walk through the centre, gives you the opportunity to stop for some tapas. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, we would recommend Juan's B&B. Thank you, Juan! We will definitely come back!

AustraliaNot a problem for us, but the spiral stone stairs may be challenging for some people. Unfortunately, we had quite some trouble contacting Juan on our arrival day as the numbers he provided went unanswered. We did finally connect to Juan after 90 mins through Booking.com messenger.
Juan is an amazing host, so friendly and welcoming. He responded quickly to requests during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. He provided a fantastic dinner recommendation and provided a lovely breakfast each morning. We loved the comfortable king bed in the superior room with amazing views from the top floor. We enjoyed the great little lounge area with wine & snacks you can buy and make complimentary tea & coffee, particularly because we met other guests here. Hint: It is easiest to park in P2 as per Juan’s instructions and walk, catch a bus or take a taxi to the property.

New ZealandEverything about Casa el Sueno was appealing, from host Juan's greeting to the charming old building which has modern amenities but retains old features such as archedways, old beamed ceilings, twisting tiled stairs, beautiful moorish tiled entry way, nice artworks... Juan provided a great breakfast with homemade breads, eggs cooked to order, and more. Our bicycles were safely stored in the garage. Great recommendations for dinner - one of the best thst we had in Spain.

SloveniaThere are steep hills to the property as you can park lower in the town, but this is just to say, because we loved it.
The position, the town, the views. The house is a beautiful and charming place, located in a perfect spot to see the best of the town and eat the best, just a few steps away. The owner took such good care of us with his homemade food for breakfast. It was really nice and a heartwarming experience.

GermanyThe B&B is located in a beautiful several centuries house, the room even had a vault ceiling and an amazing panoramic view, better than in the public viewpoints! Juan, the owner was amazing to us, got the room ready in a bliss, eventhough we booked 45 min before arriving. He bakes bread every morning for breakfast! It was just amazing...

United KingdomI felt that the floor of the shower was slippery when wet and there was no handrail as a safety measure. A TV in our room would have been appreciated by me.
The proprietor was v friendly & helpful. The inclusive breakfast was plentiful & delicious, comprising quality ingredients. The historic building was well-preserved and maintained.

BelgiumThe weather... :-) but that was exceptionally bad for the time of the year.
The view is indeed superb. Like an eagle's nest :-) Terrace on top... Breakfast with a.o. oeuf cocotte :-) But I would just recommend Italian coffee :-) or tea. I'm sure I would have got it if I asked for it. Nearby: good restaurants and marvelous views.

DenmarkWe had no problems however the property is difficult to reach in the very narrow streets of Arco. But that goes for all places in the old town.
Very pretty traditional house in the old town with a stunning view from the terrace. Super nice host family making sure all needs are met.
