Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our air con was stuck and we tried to contact reception by phone but no answer. It was so late we put up with it being cold. Don’t think there was a pool so wouldn’t choose to stay if it wasn’t just a last minute need to stay situation.
We only stayed here as our flight was cancelled so it was a cheap and convenient place to stay. Close to bars and restaurants and was very clean. Staff were very apologetic about the aircon issue in our room and reticified it in the morning. Breakfast was good but only continental.

The sink broke (but they fixed it and gave us free breakfast so no problem) . The rooms are not very sound proof and many people are loud throughout the night.
The location is right by the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Very affordable bar.

Very noisy — the hotel should be stricter with loud guests and alcohol consumption. They shouldn’t allow those terrible groups to disturb and practically terrorize other guests with their behavior. Luckily, I only stayed one night

Walls are super thin - you can hear everything perfectly and a lot of people listen to loud music 24/7 on balconies, so this is definitely not a place where you can expect to sleep well.
For the price we paid cannot ask for anything more - beach only 1 minute walking, really nice and helpful men at reception, breakfast was also good and room was cozy and nice! Would recommend it!

The room didnt smell good. And some unpolite people that came late in the night drunk and screaming and waking up everyone (not the hotel fault).

No complaints. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but can’t complain for the price we paid!
We stayed for 4 nights in April. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location is great, just a minutes walk down to the beach. Room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. The staff kindly lent us beach towels and said we were welcome to borrow a sun shade parasol as well. Breakfast was ok, there was bread, ham, cheese, mini croissants and pastries and cereal. No cooked breakfast. Cheap drinks to buy from the bar and take up to your balcony.

No big issues. Thin walls, so you can hear your neighbours and the street outside very well. A little run down in some places, pooltable didn't work. Tiny shower head.
Great location near balneari 1, close to the beach and Dutch nightlife. I liked the hard beds, and the breakfast had good variety. For what you pay, good value.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable - OK for a night or two but no longer. No soundproofing - so you hear everything around you.

we didn't like other guests who were noisy ;)
For the price it was really good, the room was clean, the breakfast had everything your body requires, carbs protein fats vitamines. the staff was welcoming helpful and polite, they also have some beach equipment for guests to use. it's very close to the beach and the bus from the airport stops so near the hotel.

the other guests in the hotel were very inconsiderate of the noise and additionally the walls are so thin so you can even hear the guest next door snoring 😕
