I booked this hotel 2 times for my stay, because we spent one day in Granada as well. For the second time our room was located in the back of the building, so the wifi signal was very weak. Also the air conditioning was very noisy

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, and a few steps from the Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre, Pablo Picasso's Museum and the beach. Also easy to reach from the airport, as the bust stops just 3 mins away.

The furniture was old, bed was really uncomfortable and climatization doesn't work well + it was very loud. The main ventilator from climatisation was next to my window so I really didn't sleep very well.

The instructions of how to access the parking were not clear, trying to navigate malaga city centre and drive through pedestrianised areas was stressful. The hotel should say that you need to drive to them to get access to the car park, address for parking wasn’t clear.

Great location, helpful staff. Rooms were fairly basic but had everything we needed.

For the price, everything was perfect. We would have preferred a double bed rather than two singles pushed together. There are no frills, but the price reflects this.

Maybe shower space needs improvement - it was difficult to have a shower without spilling water everyone on the bathroom floor.

Little fridge was just perfect - it was refreshing to have a cold drink in the morning. Couldn't ask for a better location - all the places where you can eat are just outside the hotel. The position of the hotel makes it difficult to find if you don't know Malaga but obviously this is not the fault of the hotel. We had to ask cab drivers but the resulting situation makes it perfect for all the amenities and sights.

The rooms are very small. So if you have large suit cases there is hardly any places to put them. Our room had no view and was facing an ugly inner wall. The aircon unit was right under the window seal and was producing very strong low frequency noise. It kept waking me up every time the compressor was working. There is no cafeteria in this hotel so no breakfast.

The location is the strongest feature of this hotel. It’s just within 2 minutes walk from the Malaga cathedral, the entrance to the Alcazaba, the Picasso museum and the streets with a plethora of cafes and restaurants. The bed was quite comfortable for my taste.

There are no breakfast facilities other than self-service machines in the basement lounge - but the coffee was surprisingly good and you are well-served by numerous cafes within minutes walk. Maybe take a stroll towards Picasso museum and enjoy the stunning views amongst bright geranium plants and enormous fig trees for an al fresco breakfast in one of the restaurants there.

Superb location for a cultural trip - just minutes from the Picasso museum, Cathdral, Alcazaba and tho lengthy, a rewarding climb to the Parador - for exceptional far reaching views over the Port and delightful coffee and cake.

    Nothing

This hotel strongly scored on four points: 1). It's position is fabulous, being only a few minutes' walk to the old town and major places of interest 2). Our room (No. 55) was smallish but with v well-equipped bathroom, shower that can blast you out of the bath, and marvellously comfortable beds (2 large singles side-by-side), duvets, sheets & pillows 3). The room was utterly quiet at night, with shutters, double windows and heavy curtains; we slept so well 4). There is a well laid out, large sitting-room in the basement with sofas, drinks machines and a very good internet connection. This was also available in our room but with a weaker connection. There are three good coffee shops within a one minute walk for breakfast. We paid £235 for three nights which I consider very good value for such a convenient, friendly hotel.

Lighting bit dull but no problem for us. Shows the room bit on the dull side then it actual is. Also personally would have preferred choice of self service kettle and mug for hot drink facility in theatre/lounge room downstairs with vending machine(excellent coffee but no tea).

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel cleanness overall. Room quiet, very clean and fresh. Comfortable bed. We had good sleep.

Very few refreshments available - just a couple of bog-standard vending machines for coffee & snacks. Many of us Brits do like our morning cuppa! so a kettle, teabags & pots of UHT milk would go a long way, without creating a lot of extra work for staff. No breakfast available (despite large, seemingly unused room containing vending machines) but plenty of excellent cafes on the doorstep & on way to the excellent covered food market.

Hotel is in a perfect location, right in heart of historic area, behind Cathedral, so very easy to pop in & out during the day if needed. Rooms surprisingly spacious, very quiet & clean, useful fridge in room. Plenty of storage, cosy wooden furnishings. Comfy beds.

Took a while to figure out heating but was very effective once receptionist explained the aircon to us (We come from the land of central heating!) If you like a cup of tea in the room, bring a travel kettle. Drinks machine in the basement does not do tea. No view from room but wasn't there to sit in the room!

Right in the centre of the old town, I would recommend this hotel to no-frills, budget conscious travellers. The receptionists were hospitable, knowledgeable & professional. They all spoke excellent English. Our room was a good size with plenty of storage, good lighting & full length mirror. There was a TV & free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was very good - great shower over a bath & large sink. Hairdryer was on wall over sink. Bus stop is about a 5 minute walk away with good connections to the airport. Food is not served in the hotel but there are many options within striking distance. Tourist attractions are right on your doorstep. The downstairs lounge was very much appreciated on our last day before setting off to the airport.

It was a bit cold inside the room and despite the heating, it took time before the temperature got comfortable. The view from the window was inexistant. It overlooked a wall. The shower curtain was a bit ripped off by previous customers.

Small bed but comfortable. Very good location. Very close to Alcazaba and the cathedral.

The room didn't have tea/coffee making facilities but there was a vending machine on the ground floor of the hotel.

The staff were outstanding. They were very helpful even to the extent of advising us to where the best cafes etc were located. The location of the hotel (a few hundred meters from the Cathedral) was ideal. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily.

This is a very basic hotel...it has 2 stars. This reflects that there is no bar, no leisure facilities. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The room is quite small.

The location of the hotel right in the middle of the historic quarter...just a stone throw from the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral is second to none. Despite this central location, the room was very quite and we enjoyed a good sleep.

Malaga is a city that should be seen, you should never spend time in side because chances are you wont get much of a view from your room. But that's okay because you just want to sleep and shower. Having a safe in the room could be good but no stress because reception can keep it for you too.

Location was perfect! Central city close to everything! Everything was able to be reached within walking distance. Exit the hotel and immediately you see cafes, shops, souvenir stores, a small supermarket, Museums, sights to see, and more!
