Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe experience of living on an estate. The garden area and the swimming pool .
This is a very unique experience living in this estate. built in 1898 and renovated, and now has seven rooms to rent. This place is perfect for special events or a very unique bed-and-breakfast stay. Situated on 5 acres behind an auto gate. Entry into the parking area is tree lined and creates a spectacular entrance feel. The staff Alicia, Carmen and others was so helpful and kind, warm and inviting. We meet Julio and Ignacias two of the brothers that own the estate and there were awesome. It has a very nice garden surrounding the place with fruit trees.

GermanyMattress could have been more comfortable.
Overwhelming location with history and style. A real Insider Tipp for people visiting andalucia. I felt like a princess in a mini castle, actually it was like sleeping in a museum. The gardens were amazing. Fruits like in Eden. Birds, cats and the subtropical climate in the region made me feel, as if I was not in Europe anymore. Very nice and hearty house maid and host. Good breakfast with (probably) exotic fruits from the garden.

SpainThe description is misleading. There was no bar and no snack bar. There was only one person on duty in the evening, the chef/waiter/manager and he went out for a while (super guy, friendly, really helpful, superb chef, so no complaints there!). There was no water in our room, the minibar was empty, and as there was nobody in the kitchen we were totally unable to get even a bottle of water, which we really needed after a couple of hours in the sun, let alone a beer or a sundowner! I managed to find him later and ask for a bottle of wine on the terrace, but by then we only had about fifteen minutes before dinner was served, so couldn’t enjoy sitting out with a drink as we had planned. From then on, the service was perfect, as was the food.
Beautiful building and our suite was excellent. Very quiet ( but it is a ‘big event’ hotel so I had checked that there was nothing on the night that we planned to stay!). We were made very welcome by the proprietor and the manager. Dinner was superb, beautifully cooked and presented.

United Kingdomlanguage is almost always an issue but I guess that’s on us. We were there out of season and possibly the only guests,so sadly my most favourite part of the Spanish breakfast was not available on this particular visit. but fresh orange juice and lovely view from upstairs room made up for it.
it’s just unique and we love coming back here.

AustraliaWhen we arrived one of the rooms had a very unpleasant smell, but as advised by the staff there wasn't a lot they could do. It vanished after several hours and we never got that again. Also, the kettle had mould inside and the fridge didn't appear to be working at all, these latter things are small that can be easily fixed.
This place is all about the serenity and the staff. Beautiful gardens around the entire place for morning or evening walks, amazing house with obvious history that I would love to explore further, next time. The staff were polite and very helpful. The whole place has immense charm and it is really pleasing to the eye when floating in the swimming pool looking back on the house.
