This was a fantastic gem of a place. We were fortunate to stay here for 2 nights. Room 19 with a spiral staircase to your own roof terrace was special. All the staff were so professional, friendly and made our stay perfect. Fabulous value for money and just that little bit different to get the authentic Spanish experience.

Bathroom is a bit dated. Otherwise good value for money.

Great and helpful staff, always willing to help and make my stay memorable. Though the building is not modern it is of a quaint style with lots of beautiful courtyards. I had a quiet room and was pleased with the accommodation.

It was 46 steps to our room (no 19) and then further steps to access the terrace, which only had a small plastic table & 2 chairs. Some loungers would have been nice. There is no tea/coffee making facilities In the room The a/c was not very good

This is more of a comment rather than a complaint. The shower could be upgraded a bit. Everything worked but it could do with a freshening-up.

Location is excellent, right at the heart of the old quarter so getting around on foot is easy and pleasant. If you like winding, maze-like alleys that suddenly open into plazas, you're in for a treat. Everything in the old quarter is walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is truly charming (it's about 300 years old and is historically and architecturally interesting, a good example of the Mudejar style) with 4 lovely courtyards that provide cool comfort in the heat of the day with a cold glass of wine and a book. It was always very quiet in the hotel and the surrounding area. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed with one of the front desk staff, Jesus, who is actually a tour guide (and was obviously proud, with good reason, of his city) and gave very good advice on sights to visit and where to eat, from a local's point of view (always the best advice in my opinion).

    Liked everything !

Staff was enormously helpful and gracious. Plus the building itself was charming. The attention to detail was palpable in both rooms we stayed in. We had an unexpectedly complicated rail journey to book and we had nothing but patience, brilliant help. Not every hotel would offer this! Plus the Santa Cruz location was excellent. All in all a pleasure!

Parking appeared a bit tricky or complicated there, but admittedly I didn't arrive/depart via my own vehicle, so no idea where someone would or even could park. Definitely didn't see a parking lot nearby.

The room was on three levels, extremely uncomfortable with each floor super small. There was no curtain on the door to the top terrace, which resulted in us waking up at 6 am because of the light.

Room was 3 floors, with narrow, curving stairs. Bringing luggage up them was not fun. Wifi only had good reception on bottom floor, which was not our bedroom.

Beautiful hotel, was an old royal house in the past and was converted into a hotel. Very unique, has a great open patio with tables and chairs to relax in, our room had a private rooftop terrace where we had an impromptu dinner date. Lovely architecture.

There was a climb of about 40 quite steep steps to the room, quite difficult to navigate with luggage - this should have been made clear during the booking process. The bathroom was not good - poor positioning of toilet, no space to put your own items down. Although there was a bar, you had to go to reception to order a drink. Check in was very slow and tedious. Courtyard areas looked a bit "tired" and in need of proper cleaning / maintenance.

The location was quite good, close to the Casa de Pilatos and an ok walk to / from the other main attractions. The overall buildings / courtyard were nice and the room was clean and very spacious. Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was fine.

The hotel was romantic and felt like being in old time Seville. The streets of Seville are chaotic and navigating to our early morning tour took longer than the 15 minutes suggested by the front desk. Lesson learned, take time to stroll from the hotel to the real alcazar and plaza de toros, getting there fast is not really sevillian style.

Roof deck was a plus. The decor felt very unique. Loved our bi-level room.

The hotel was old-styled in that it maintained the it would have been done decades ago. As such, it was very inconvenient as you can not expect to have conveniences of modern hotel. No elevators, a duplex room with a very narrow spiraled stairway to upstairs, which is horrible as the only bathroom was in the upstairs. I hated moving up and down through narrow spraled stairs to get to the bathroom.

The welcoming wine, a valet parking for your car upon arrival and kind staff. However, the parking place is more than five minutes away and you have to go there to pick up the car before checking out and it is not easy to drive through labyrinth through Sevilla’s old town alleys.

Beautiful courtyards and period features. Perfect location quiet and peaceful but close to main attractions. Right beside Casa De Pilatos. The hotel was at the edge of the Old Town, about a 20 -25 minute walk from the train station. Once in the hotel, it was very quiet and had beautiful courtyards, filled with interesting antiques and fountains, for sitting and resting. The room had a sitting area, and they gave us a lovely bottle of red wine in the room. The room was a bit old and traditional, and could use more plugs. Wifi was fine. I was in Seville two days earlier in a different hotel before visiting Cardiz and returned for one day and my previous hotel is fully booked. So, I picked this one, a bit farther from the center, and a bit difficult to find. But, I was pleasantly surprised because the hotel is in a nice traditional estate with deco and character of old world charm. It has a number of court yards, and the roof can be accessed to have unobstructed view of the city. The staff is very helpful. So, if you are looking for traditional boutique hotel, this is a very nice place.
