Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe location added an extra mile to our journey to get there but the scenery and hospitality made up for the walk. The dinner provided was excellent but it would be good to know how much it would cost in advance. We spent our last euros on the meal, more than anticipated.
Everything. The staff was gracious and kind. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location was in the middle of vineyards providing very scenic views. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful.

United StatesOne room had twin beds that were very uncomfortable. The full-sized bed was very comfortable.
It was like a peaceful oasis in the country — beautiful and quiet. It was not convenient to the Camiño or to dining but Luis brought us dinner and drove us to the Camino after breakfast.

BelgiumThe rooms could benefit from a dehumidifier or air conditioning as the smell of dampness was quite noticeable
We had a wonderful stay at Casal de Folgueiras. The house is set in a beautifully serene location surrounded by vineyards, offering real peace and quiet—remarkable given its proximity to a major road, which is barely noticeable once you’re there. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the tranquil Galician countryside. A special mention goes to our host, Louis, whose hospitality truly stood out. He welcomed us warmly and took the time to explain everything in detail, from the history of the house to local tips and recommendations. His thoughtful approach made us feel instantly at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in Rías Baixas.

United KingdomNothing - it was perfect
This was the highlight of our Camino in terms of accommodation. Fantastic hosts, beautiful property, brilliant atmosphere - just perfect in every way. The food was delicious, our room was cosy and pretty. Just lovely. Owner also collected us from Armenteira and took us back to the camino in the morning. Thank you for a fantastic stay. I will recommend and hopefully come back again.

CanadaIt’s quite a ways off the Camino and we felt that we were a bit of an imposition. We were the only guests which was fine but I felt that the meals that were provided were quite skimpy and low effort for what we thought we could have (ie there is some advertising of barbecue on site that I thought this would be part of a supper option). We were provided a lift back toward the Camino but not the spot we showed/asked for - suspecting the male owner is not really into the Camino.
The property is stunning. There are several beautiful buildings and wonderful surrounding gardens and a place to sit.

United StatesA little hard to find via googlemaps so I had to call Luis (which isn’t that easy for me in a foreign country as I rarely do it….maybe for most people it might be easy); fortunately he was there and answered. Maybe you can get google to literally list your casata…… Also send it’d be best to send your entry info and pix 2-3 days before arrival….and Make sure y ou get a reply…..sending it the day of is too late because most people arrive by car and it’s too chaotic to read at the last minute.
The stone building the private room is located in (along with a few others, in my case unoccupied rooms) was beautiful, old Galicia style. The bathroom and bedroom were comfortable in all regards. Luis brought soup and salad (he offered more but I only wanted that) for dinner (I had no idea for sure what the price would be; it turned out to be very reasonable E8 for both). Breakfast was 20 minutes late and it didn’t have any eggs or cooked items….I was surprised; only bread, delicious chocolate poppyseed croissant and wonderful jams, coffee, and juice. I think the inn is probably functioning better in high season; I stayed in early November.

United StatesHost came and picked me up for a small fee since this property is not directly on the Camino. This property is fabulous, I wouldn’t hesitate booking it. Provided a dinner in the evening and breakfast for a fee which was a fun way to get to know some of the other pilgrims.

IsraelThe WiFi in the room didn't work. The host apologized and explained that he's waiting for the provider to send someone. No big deal for us, we used the mobile network.
Quite village, trees all around, host was great, great for couples, great for Camino pilgrims doing the Variante Espiritual. Hard to move around without a car. But the host picked us up and back.

GermanyIt is a stunning place and I recommend visiting but sadly i didnt feel like the owner liked having pilgrims stay there or having to drive them (which he got paid for by the way). He was overall very nice but made some comments here and there and got very moody all of a sudden… the other guests felt the same way
