Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere was consistently pleasant and welcoming. We would like to highlight the incredibly friendly staff, who were always ready with a smile and great attention to detail. The variety of services offered were excellent, the shuttle transfer reliable and easy to book, and the location of the hotel couldn’t be more ideal – right in front of the beach and another one within a 10-min walk. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable pool beds, which made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. The clean pool and spa area added to the overall relaxation experience. The price-performance ratio is impressive. For the comfort, service, and ideal location offered, the price is more than reasonable. The food was also a highlight – varied and fresh. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return! Also, September is ideal since there are not that many tourists as in July/August and the weather is still amazing and the water temperature is pleasant.

Reception staff – Did not feel welcoming; scanning guests at the entrance without a greeting. Bar prices – Food and drinks were overpriced, offering poor value for money. Restaurant menu – Too repetitive for a week-long stay, and some dishes were never available. Water charges – €4 for tap water at dinner, and sparkling water was served in smaller portions than listed, yet charged the same. Cabanas – Required a €30 drinks-only tab (about two drinks) to use, which felt excessive. Overall feeling – The many “micro-payments” gave an impression of being overcharged at every step.

Restaurant staff – Always friendly, polite, and helpful. Rooms – Cosy, spotless, and well-designed, with very comfortable beds and great lighting. Pool area – Perfect for relaxing, with towels available at every facility. Spa – Definitely worth visiting. Food quality – Tasty dishes and outstanding breakfasts with an excellent variety. Overall atmosphere – Pleasant, calm, and relaxing.

if you hired a cabana they were brilliant, but the 'buzzers' to call staff over for drinks etc. did not work. so were completely pointless. if they had worked would have been great

A/C stopped working one night (during a heat wave) and it was a terrible experience. Staff was very helpful next day and moved us to a Villa to compensate for such a terrible experience

We stayed in room 52, we had trouble when checking in as we were told there was an issue with our original room, so we were given another room which we were late getting into, but unfortunately the air conditioning was not working, maintenance tried on 3 separate occasions to fix the problem but unable to. We were given 4 fans which with temperatures in the early 30's were a little help but air conditioning is a must, to be fair the restaurant was just as bad with lack of it. Without suitable air conditioning I think the hotel is a good 4* but not 5.

Breakfast was very good, lovely pool especially the cabana's that you can hire daily for 40 euros but your poolside drinks are included in the price up to the value of 40 euros. great location close to lots of restaurants and beach. Staff were amazing. Would have been a nice room if we had working air conditioning.

Booking gave us the option to upgrade our room which I did, but the room was on the ground floor facing "the harbor" which was more like the parked cars and people walking right by your room. We were two female travelers and it was a concern, although, the area and the room were super safe. The weirdest thing about this room was that the shower was in the the middle of the room and there was ZERO privacy when taking a shower. We had to take turns being out of the room when showering. Booking should really note that and not charge this room or consider it an upgrade. That was the most disappointing.

Great breakfast with lots of different selections. The pool was the best part. The price of renting a cabana for the day was very reasonable and the cabana cost included drinks. We rented cabanas for two days in a row. The location was amazing. Restaurants and bars everywhere.

We have no negative criticisms - we found everything enjoyable.

Location was perfect with the gorgeous marina and plenty of restaurants. The Thai Garden restaurant at the hotel was amazing. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice each day. The pool area was outstanding with Balinese beds available. The staff were all excellent and clearly work hard at ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. We had a fantastic holiday and when we return we will definitely stay at Lago Resort again.

Electric kept tripping in room. Shower/bathroom sort of open plan. If you’re nearly dating probably not the hotel for you due to the toilet.
