Breakfast was a wee bit disappointing.

The room was pretty spectacular and we loved it. Spacious, comfortable, very clean and we had our own wee terrace. The bathroom was beautiful too, as well as the lighting. The staff were all lovely and so helpful. We got the most wonderful welcome when we arrived. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

for a twin room, would have liked shower curtain, though was not huge issue due to design. toiletries were provided in lovely bottles, but no idea what was in them. . . first world problems eh? While the hotel was clean and pretty, the street was less so, but not untypical for the area. Ask for the Basilica Macarena in taxis as you then get to just the right spot as one way streets

shower was awesome, staff so pleasant, comfortable room with quirky antique furnishings, was just round the corner from buses, basilica, ATM, the roof top terrace was well furnished and private. adjoining restaurant was used by guests and locals, giving it a nice buzz, and the staff made you feel part of the fun. The waitress made the lemon cheesecake and she was rightly proud!

The hotel has either central heating or air conditioning switched on . We arrived to central heating - it had been raining the previous week . It took 2 days / nights to get it converted to air conditioning , which worked fine .

The hotel was unique - liked the atmosphere . The staff were great . The room was very comfortable .

Hotel further from the center than we thought (our fault) and required a lot of walking. There were smells in the lobby. Room was comfortable enough, but the lobby seemed a little run-down. Roof top was not in good shape and should be done over.

Staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Thank you!

    Nothing to fault it.

DELIGHTFUL place- really unique, fabulous style of tiles and fittings. BIG room, very comfy bed, fresh linen each day (not asked for), enormous bath, gallons of hot water, twin silver sinks. Lovely roof garden, already warm enough to sit up there in the evening - jacuzzi constantly available up there. Charming staff, EXCELLENT evening tapas - locals use the bar to eat tapas in the evenings. Couldn't recommend it highly enough, lovely place :)

One morning the hot water run out for a few minutes, a bit of a nuisance but not a big deal as it warmed up after a few minutes.

A lovely hotel in the decorated in the moorish style. The wifi was good as was the bed. The breakfast was good and included freshly cooked omelette on request. Adjoining the hotel is a family run restaurant which served good local tapas at good prices, its very popular so get there not long after 8 when it opens if you want a table. The hotel is situated about a 20-30 min walk to the old town which was not a problem as the walk in could be varied and passed the local market. , alternatively use a taxi.

Super clean, lost my Fitbit bracelet so need to check under bed, dark corners etc, all spotless! Bed and bath linen changed daily. Staff all lovely and friendly, yet professional. Restaurant next door where we breakfasted had wonderful local food, very reasonably priced and fab service. Buffet breakfast superb and freshly squeezed orange juice was the best I'd had. At check in, we were given a room on the ground floor, next to the lobby, with windows facing the street. We had an early flight abc wanted some sleep. Every person who walked by, or stood nearby talking could be heard. When I told the woman at the front desk, she just said “No, you can’t.” I asked if there was another room. Nope.

There was a freak power outage at night. In the morning, the manager brought us a light and was very friendly and apologetic. Not his fault, but we could tell he took pride in the hotel.

It was not easy to find without a GPS, which we didn't have. I think my biggest disappointment is that the rooms don't all look like the ones that the beautiful website photos show. Our room was rather plain - not nearly as fancy as those that were pictured, and I felt let down because we chose to stay in this out of the way neighborhood for the rooms based on the hotel's photos. The room definitely had Moorish decor, but it felt very simple and somewhat overpriced. And though the bathroom was beautiful, it was dark. All in all, even though this place was rather pricey, it was definitely unique, and I don't want to deter anyone from staying here - just know that your room may not be as beautiful as the ones displayed.

What a unique place. The public space is beautifully decorated, and having excellent breakfasts included in the price was a real bonus. The decor in this hotel is deliberately and beautifully done with Moorish influences; this is why I chose this place. And having the cafe attached to the hotel was great - the food there is delicious as is the host. The staff at the front desk in the hotel were super-helpful and gave great suggestions for things to do. The Macarena neighborhood was very interesting and had it not been for this hotel, we probably wouldn't have gotten to know it! The terrace was very nice.

The main point I would flag was over the breakfast which offered a limited choice compared to others. That said the restaurant and staff were lovely too.

The location, all the staff and hotel itself ( an authentic style with a great eye for detail). Lovely roof top garden and small internal courtyard with water and tiled features.

Amazing fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast! The restaurant attached to the hotel had some of the best tapas I've had in Spain, I highly recommend it (especially the artichokes)! The room itself was clean and spacious and the bed had very soft fluffy pillows and good quality sheets. I would love to stay here again and recommend it to all.

Everything about this place gives you a positive vibe! The room is comfortable and clean. The tub is huge. Also there is a Jacuzzi on the terrace. Location wise - The place is well connected. The bus C2 from Santa Justa Stn to the hotel costs just 2.4€ per person. And is less than a minute walk from the bus stop. There is a bicycle rental in the next parallel block which you can rent at 10€ a day. Cycling around Seville is really easy as there are dedicated cycling tracks throughout the city. The hotel offers free parking for bicycles. The entire staff are warm and lovely people committed to making your stay comfortable and pleasant. Susanna especially , who helped us save a lot of time by taking care to return the bicycles on time.

Very nice romantic room and lovely boutique hotel. We just loved every minute of it. Classic Moroccan-type room and decor. Good location in Macarena, which is far from the tourist area but the bus stop is just 50m from the hotel door. Fabulous room, wonderful bathroom design - very unique and very non-Western. We mostly enjoyed staying in Alcoba del Rey, but it wasn't exactly as pictured in the photos. We were in a 1st floor room directly above the restaurant which meant that we had a fair bit of trouble sleeping when the noise from the street and restaurant went on into the early hours of the morning. The hotel is in a good but not great location - you have a 20-30 minute walk to get to the major attractions through interesting local streets, but apparently there is also a bus right outside the takes you around the outside of the old city walls (though we didn't use this). The room could also have benefitted from better lighting - it's very hard to see anything in there at night even if you turn all the lights on!

We liked that the hotel was quite quaint with interesting decorative details, but in some ways it did feel a little old and in need of a bit of a revamp. The staff are nice, and it's an interesting hotel with a pretty ok breakfast.

The roof terrace was a little shabby but a lovely spot in the evening to chill and read a book. Didn't seem to be lit at night, perhaps in the high season it is. May be helpful for travellers to know it is next to the Basilica De La Macarena - locals know it.

Loved the Moorish influence on the style. Shower in my room was great. The reception staff lovely and helpful. The little bar next door was friendly and the sirloin tapa in whisky was fab.

Breakfast was ok but could have been better. If you have a car then parking near to the hotel was at times frustrating.

Room tidied / changed each day. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Only a couple of minutes walk to bars & resturants and 10 minutes to centre of Seville. Location is a little north of the centre so you get a feel of the local community down the bars etc... Nearby Hercules street/walkway. Lots of walking so have a good pair of shoes, buildings, streets, little shops were lovely. A definate return visit to be planned. Ideal place for long week end break.

Extremely expensive. The room was just a typical room, and they insisted that it was a junior suite. This hotel is considered as a four star hotel and it doesn't even have a minibar or a refrigerator, and we are talking for Sevilla, a city that the temperature is everyday at 40 degrees C ! The photos you are looking are far away from reality! There are much more better hotel in the city in this price.

There weren't many amenities - just a bar of soap and shampoo / conditioner. Bathrobes and slippers are not available. I didn't like that there was no door to the bathroom. There wasn't even a shower curtain. The A/C wasn't working properly so it took a long time for the room to cool down. A problem during the Spanish summers.

In old town that gave you the authentic Seville experience. Lots of great restaurants close by you'll never go hungry! We felt like locals. Very easy to get to public transport. -location is quite north of the city, not very convenient andnot much to see around although taxis in seville are very cheap to go everywhere, somewhere near the cathedral is a better location (santa cruz or juderia) - smelled damp

    - decoration -friendly staff

The hotel was a good 20 minute walk from the centre of Seville however this wasn't a problem overall as it was close to the eating area.

A very unique and fascinating hotel. The rooms were Moroccan in style and very well designed. A good breakfast was provided. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

It's near quite a noisy road and about 25 minutes walk from the giralda. Parking in the the hotel garage is tight.

Lovely decor and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful.

Great room, full of moorish character. Roof terrace and adjoining bar/restuarant were excellent. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was an excellent value for money. The walk into the old town centre was 15mins but very pleasant.

Wi-Fi was a bit weak but worked

The tapas in the tapas bar connected to the hotel. If you don't love Rosetta's smile and warm hospitality you have no soul! The tapas is great too! Friendly helpful staff. Decor.

There could have been a kettle/water heater in the room. Breakfast should have been much better.

Would have given a good comfort score but room temp was way too hot with no cool AC available. Nor was it possible to turn off heating.

    Great decoration and clean rooms

The room and hotel is lovely. Very clean and comfortable. I loved the shower! The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood which is away from the hustle and bustle of the core touristy area of Seville which I liked. A twenty minute walk towards the busy area will take you through a quaint neighborhood, a long passageway of endless restaurants, a busy but awesome shopping district and then onto the cathedral and other sights. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The restaurant next door has great tapas and is well reviewed!

The breakfast was not great to be honest, we got down at 10am, most of the stuff was gone and did not look so fresh. The melon was example was badly wrapped in a fridge and looked a few days old. The bread was low quality and not very nice. The hotels sells having breakfast included so it should really be full all the time and fresh, with great bread. The choice was ok had it been full... Half empty plates or empty plates. Good coffee and juice though.

The welcome from the staff was excellent, the ambience and style of the hotel was great, though a little tired on the terrace. Our room was lovely, spacious, comfortable, nice touch of slippers for your use. Candles and incense in the room was lovely too. Very comfortable bed with good linen. The staffs advise on places to eat was excellent too.

Location - its a bit further away to walk everywhere. Breakfast - for vegetarians it was ok.

Really charming hotel that gives you the experience of Spain. Excellent rooms and facilities. Really helpful staff who go above and beyond their duties to make your stay awesome.

The hotel is absolutely charming, the staff is warm, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was great, able to serve good food, cocktails and good wine, all very reasonably priced.
