Bathroom although spotlessly clean was a bit dated. No air con which we were aware of when booking but ceiling fan did the job!

Spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast and a short walk into Combarro. Nice pool & garden area. Very good value for money.

    Nothing

Large tastefully decorated room, very clean and comfortable with nice views. Staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Spain. 10 minute walk to Combarro and 10 minute drive to Pontevedra. Was great to have the use of a pool after wandering around sightseeing.

The rooms were quite hard to open and our rooms were not next to each other despite emails.

The buffet breakfast was really nice and great value for money, lots of selection and the pool was nice, parking was easy. Rooms were clean and staff were nice enough. Easy 10 min stroll into town. Should be more than a 1 star!

Close to to the very nice town Combarro, about 10 minutes walk. But very busy street Own parking places for free, enough parking slots Very nice and maintained garden with swimming pool Very good breakfast, several kinds of bread and everything you need Possibility to have breakfast in the garden Bar Very kind and helpful staff

15 minute walk along the road to Combarro but as long as the weather is okay this is not too much of a problem.

Welcoming staff. Great breakfast. The room was fine - even though it was overlooking a busy road traffic noise was not too troublesome. Beautiful view over the beach.

On a noisy road, long walk to evening food. Forced by proprietor to “pay in sterling” which is a rip off and not appropriate. Left a nasty taste on leaving

Being right on a traffic-busy road, walking on the narrow pathway to Combarro & its fine eateries isn't great.

Hotel Combarro is very well placed, close to Pontevedra, Combarro town itself and exploration along the coast. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is very clean, with spacious leisure areas downstairs and a good-sized swimming pool (which we didn't use due to the changeable weather). Our double-room was excellent for size, comfort, cleanliness and bathroom. Free hotel parking, a real plus on this busy stretch of road. Big bonus? deffo the lovely, fruity fresh breakfasts with loadsa choice.

We had a North facing room, with view over the pool. South facing rooms would front the road (not busy at night), and probably need Aircon.

Good choice provided for breakfast. Highlight was the friendliness of the staff, and helpfulness in planning days out. Great attention to cleanliness and quality of the internal finishes and pool and garden. We'd read before we went 'don't be put off by road frontage' - absolutely right. 10 minute walk to Combarro old village, and 5 minutes to sea front at Poio.

Great hotel just a 15 minutes bus-ride from Pontevedra. Nothing much to see there (no shops other than one with fruit and some local products) but a 15 minutes walk and you`ll find Combarro town with a small marina/harbour and a few restaurants.
