Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not major as we only stayed one night, but we wished the window was not facing a wall.
Everything was great. The staff were helpful, professional and kind and the room was clean and very comfortable. It was located very close to the centre but still quiet.

Communal tea & coffee minibar in the lobby was poorly set up, hot water in thermos that was not hot enough, would have been better to have electric jug available (given no facilities in the rooms)

Location was good, many small supermarkets near by, staff very helpful, a small mobile shop next door to buy sim card (opens at 10am), clean rooms, free unlimited small water bottles, breakfast was decent, pharmacy nearby, bus stop nearby

Hotel is at a nice and accessible location from center. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Just note that basic rooms with "view internal garden" have basically a view into a shaft (small space with walls so no view!). The staff were nice enough to change our room after asking.

Shower head looked a bit older, and was sprinkling a bit around. But it was still functional, and nice design of shower basin didn't allow spillage.
Hotel has great location, Mercadona is just across the street, and there are many bars/restaurants nearby. Also they have a storage room for luggage, so, in case you need to leave a suitcase earlier than check in time or later than check out time, then this option could work. Staff was also nice.

Window was facing inside so no sunlight and noises (from cleaner?) at night were echoed and very loud sometimes.

The room key is large and bulky, so you wont want to carry it around. We just turned it in at the front desk each time we left. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby, but only in the afternoon. Also there are mini-fridges stocked with water on each floor, but they were empty half of the time during our stay.
A good value to create a base for exploring the city. Our triple room felt spacious thanks to the generous closet storage and cute balcony. Parking is in a public ramp next door. Plenty of restaurants in the area, as well as a large grocery store just across the street.

The location of the hotel is very convenient to visit of interesting place, close to La Ramble, Sagrada family, etc... Room clean and comfortable, view of the street but double window so it was silence, opposite of the hotel is good market and a lot of bakers and restaurants.

The location of the hotel is great and it can be access via many buses. There is a super market and several restaurant right outside of the hotel, so it is really convenient. The bed is really spacious and comfortable. The bedding are actually nice. They do house keeping everyday, which keep the room clean and fresh. The room is not big but the layout make so much sense, so you don't feel the room is small. Overall I feel really safe and comfortable staying in the hotel.

Great hotel, beautiful location super clean. The room was pretty spacious. Bathroom was nice people at the front desk were super helpful. We only stayed one night but we’re very happy.
