Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThey put us in spa mudejar because they were doing repairs and we paid for using the spa but the water in the jacuzzi was not hot, and the sauna and the Turkish bath were not ready either, as if they switched them on just before we went. We didn’t get out money back. There was nobody in the front of the spa and we had to get the towels ourselves. The room key did not work properly during the stay and I had to go down to reception every time.
It was close to plaza mayor

United StatesTechnically after booking we got moved to their sister location, the Hotel Spa La Casa Mudéjar “due to construction” at Condes de Castilla. We were okay with it given they were going to honer the original rate which was slightly less than the spa’s rates and we thought it would be fun for the kids to swim. Once we checked in though we found out the spa portion was closed “due to construction”. I understand it’s the off-season but it would have been nice to know ahead of time so we at least didn’t have to lug around our kids swimming suits (we try to pack the absolute minimum). Regardless all okay.
Awesome location. Great staff and clean rooms.

SpainThere was 2 twin beds instead of a double one, there was a lot of humidity within the room even with the AC on.
This review is for the Hotel Mudejar, we were transfered here because Condes de Castilla had renovations in progress and they were nice to offer us this option. Hotel Mudejar is located very close to the Cathedral of Segovia and main attractions, the stuff was nice, the view from our room also nice.

BelgiumYou have to call to the reception to turn on/off the AC. Rooms are a bit outdated but still fine.
We stayed in a different hotel but it was also good. Friendly staff and large room. Location is excellent.

GermanyIf you look for a modern, stylish hotel, this isn’t it. Our room was very traditional, the bathroom had a bathtub with shower.
The location is great, just 50m from Plaza Major and you walk into the reception right from the main shopping / pedestrian street of Segovia. The room was clean and the mattresses very comfortable. The reception staff (day and night) was very friendly.

AustraliaWe were unable to stay at this hotel due to a technical issue, but they organised for us to be accommodated at the Hotel Spa La Casa Mudejar instead (3× twin rooms.) It was absolutely fantastic. Located just off the Plaza Mayor, steps away from the stunning Cathedral of Sergovia, where we were able to take a walk at night and enjoy seeing this beautiful cathedral lit up, with hardly anyone around. It's a very easy 15 minute walk to both the Aquaduct and the Alcazar from this spot through lovely old streets, past shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. Gluten free bread and biscuits were offered to me and there were egg dishes available for those needing that option. It is a very old building that has been pleasantly refurbished, so don't expect contemporary furnishings, tho there is a lift. We couldn't park our van in the area, so we opted for the valet parking on offer (approx 17€ per day) - fantastic service and saved a lot of hassle in the small streets. Great stay!
