The hotel took a charge fom our card before we arrived as a security deposit which was fine..asked when I would get it back when I checked out yesterday and was told at noon that day it would be returned..24hrs later and still not back into my account!

Access was a little unclear, off the Rambla and then lift/stairs to Second floor but once we found our way all was fine

Since we lived in the 3rd floor we had to leave and take the key to/from the reception in the first floor, which was sometimes inconvenient. The breakfast buffet had limited, but in general was decent

Great location quite building helpful and polite staff great service the 24hours buffet and free access to Coffee machines, soft drinks and drinking water.

It was tired in places, breakfast was very limited. Two rooms are next to the lounge room by reception. One guest complained about the noise so the staff blocked off the lounge room. I really don’t think all guests should be blocked from the lounge because of one guest.

Amazing hotel right on the main strip in Barcelona providing a peaceful haven to return to after a long day sightseeing. A good breakfast was provided and snacks and drinks including wine, beer, tea and coffee were available 24/7. Staff were really helpful, especially Vivienne

There were no toiletries and bottled water, which is a basic requirement for the price. The pictures can be misleading as not all rooms face the street.

It was in a fantastic position. The room was a really good size. The bathroom looks fairly newly renovated. Beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to the day.

We did not like the sound of running water intermittently during the night, which seemed to be emanating from the floor above which was not part of the hotel.

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The location, at the top of La Rambla, was perfect. The breakfast was very good 'Continental'. An all-day buffet was available free of charge.

Very disappointed in breakfast selection, nothing we would really eat. Some quests leaving let their room doors slam more than once at 6am in the morning waking us up.

The staff were very pleasant, the location was great, the room good and comfortable.

You have food 24hr, but they need to put more varieties becasue they have the same every day. There was a homeless outside the hotel sleeping , and everybody can access to the building, but the have camera and security.

The location is excellent, you can take bus or taxi just stepping out the hotel or walk to las ramblas, gothic quarter, etc. It is close to everything.

I feel like the decor needs updating as for a hotel in a hot country to have carpets and wallpaper, its very warm even if you use ac.

The location of the hotel was great . Walk straight out and there's lots of shops and restaurants. Walking distance to a cathedral and 30 minutes walk to the beach.

COMPLETELY HIDDEN AUTHORIZATION FEE which was temporary hold from your account until you check out. NEITHER HOTEL NOR BOOKING.COM UPFRONT & HONEST ABOUT THIS TEMPORARY CHARGE. Anyone chose to pay at the property make sure you have enough money to pay the full price even if they have already hold one night worth amount from your card weeks before. Wouldn't be an issue if they HONEST & UPFRONT about it BUT NO! big disappointment!! Also it took exactly a week the founds to be released back to my account. WHAT A DRAMA TO DEAL AFTER A HOLIDAY!! Rooms & corridors were bit out-dated and not properly ventilated. Access to the rooms only via old elevator or old tiny stair case.

Location is absolutely perfect. Easy access to the public transport, shops and restaurants. The 24hrs snacks buffet and morning breakfast buffet are worth for someone who enjoys food. Good coffee too. Keep in mind it's very basic but couldn't expect more or less for the price. Staff were professional, friendly, approachable and helpful. Whole place was clean and tidy. Also we had the room service everyday. Our room's heating stop working on second day but they gave us a another cleaned room. Big thanks to the staff. Definitely worth the price we paid except one major failure from their management.

The room temp was too warm and we could not control it with AC. Needed to get desk to adjust and it took some time to moderate. We used overhead fan however it was very noisy therefore one night was tough on sleep.

Breakfast was weak but I suppose for a continental it was adequate. Very little variety over the 4 days.

Location was perfect on the la rambla. We could walk to many attractions and close to shops and restaurants as well.. 24 hour front desk assistance was great. Very helpful with luggage and our 3am taxi to the airport!
