Excellent location, food good. Staff were helpful.

Poor locking system for the Suite room. Only one key which had to be used to unlock the door leading into the suite and then used to relock the door once inside. If not locked the door would stay slightly ajar so it needed to be locked at all times. One morning while my traveling partner slept in I hoped to step out for a bit but it would mean that I would have to lock the door when I exited leaving my friend locked in the room until I returned. Of course she could have called the front desk but she may have also panicked when she realized she couldn’t out of the room. An additional key, not just one would resolve the issue. Why was it so difficult for the hotel to understand? Other hotels always provide 2 keys when there is more than one traveler booked. The addition of bathroom toiletries would also be a nice touch. Only one nearly empty bottle of an all purpose body soap and shampoo was provided.

The disadvantage was: Guest’s have to carry their luggage’s up to the stairs before, they can use the elevator.

The breakfast was good, staffs are wonderful As for myself I am more as a fruits and veggies person Loved the dinner area, nice and quiet, Suggestion: Need more And fresh Bananas and Cranberry juice.

The air conditioning in room 131 was not cool/cold on lowest setting. So it was stuffy.

The beds were extremely comfortable! Location was perfect for our needs, and the 24-buffet was a lifesaver. Loved the historical look of this building.

A 24 hour buffet is offered, free beer and wine. The buffet is a nice idea it leaves a bit to be desired. The hot food offered in the morning is on a hot plate, so often warm to cold. The area to dispose your plates has small bugs flying around due to the dirty dishes. They would be better off with a small dishwasher that the guest could deposit dirty dishes into.

Location was wonderful, beds very comfortable, staff attentive and friendly. Lounge area was perfect for relaxing, taxi stand right outside the hotel. Elevator worked out well for us.

The window did not open on the street but onto the next building. No fresh air, unfortunately. I would have appreciated knowing this when I booked so I would choose another type of room.

Gorgeous hotel with a lovely lounge breakfast room and all day buffet. Our room was small but comfortable, though a room looking out to the street would be nicer. Fantastic location.

Room 124 should not be let out. It was less than half a meter from reception. Conversation, phone calls... etc till very late at night and very early in the morning meant that our three nights were disturbed. We stayed here before, in another room and it was great. this is why we came back. Next time I book I will insist that they do not give me room 124, otherwise it is another hotel for me.

The staff were polite. Rodger, a young member of staff was so helpful and kind, as were the rest of the staff. The location of the hotel is exceptional. You could park your car at the hotel, expensive but convenient. Plenty of car parks only a few meters away. I would recommend this hotel but avoid room 124!

Our room was the size of a postage stamp, (Room 135), and for the price we paid was very disappointing. Was difficult to even find a place for two suitcases.

Lobby on second floor so lots of stairs (but there is a lift which actually made it feel very secure as only guests could get access when buzzed in.)

smoking is right outside the dinner room, when they left the door open it was like they where in the dining room smoking. thankfully our days there didn't have a lot of smokers.

good to have something to eat without going out. Room was ok but it was the hall way to desk , so at time people hang around talking. We where tired to we stayed in the room resting. would of liked a room not upfront.
