We used the caves as a base to explore Sierra Nevada. Very welcoming hosts, comfy beds, the caves are beautiful, a very unique place to stay and stay cool even in the hottest parts of the day.

Nothing You can cook in the room or there are some great value for money restaurants just a short drive into the village. Example, tuna toasty, large pizza, tray of complimentary olives, bread and oil, 3 x cokes, 1 beer, 1 bottle of red wine, €27 !

Pilar, owner was so friendly and accommodating. I feel as though we made a friend in Spain. The facilities are excellent for a family. My only concern would be for anyone with asthma as my mother's chest seemed worse when in the accommodation. All in all a really great experience in a truly stunning area. If you need to contact the owners, Translate messsge into Spanish.

It would have been if there were some information about this pretty special cave apartment block, how old were the caves, what have the been used as i e.

A pretty spacious cave apartment in a sort of cave dwelling block. Interesting to sleep i a cave, we found the temperature quite comfortably in the beginning of October. Pay a visit to the cave museum in in close Guadix, you will learn a lot about cave life!

    Nothing.

Beautiful location and the Cave rooms have been set up wonderfully. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Nice 20 min walk into the town where we were again looked after and made to feel welcome.

A little bit hard to find as it is situated close to Alcudia de Guadix and not in la Calahorra. But the effort to find it was rewarded with great memories of the place!

Beautiful landscape with nice views of Sierra Nevada. It was a first-time experience to stay in a cave hotel and to feel the ambient atmosphere of the typical house carved in the Andalusian mountainous rocks. What made our stay even more special was the great hospitality of the owners - 2 brothers who are in fact active farmers.

WiFi was free but basically only had decent connection outside the apt. Understandable because of the cave walls... Breakfast... Lovely bread with olive oil and tomato but it would have been nice to know on a little menu what was actually available.

Great Place!!! unique!!!if you pass that way you have to try it. Pictures on the web site don't show how nice it actually is. Super cool!! Owner super friendly.

    Nothing.....

Very quiet, beautiful scenery, excellent choice of eating places in the nearby village. The cave studio was exceptionally clean and fresh, very roomy and a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and very good value.
