Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was quite cold at times in our room. We did get the heater going for awhile but wasn't easy.
I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Just what we needed. The breakfast was tasty and the bed in the superior room was very comfortable. The person who seemed to be in charge appeared to do everything. She did a fantastic job looking after us.

SpainWe were very happy to have chosen this antique house (300 years old!) hotel for our weekend. Our room was bright and with a huge bathtub. Ines, the owner, was discreet, but talkative if you had any questions. Renovation has been done with taste and keeping with the character, and full of rustic artwork form local artists. Full of lovely corners in the outside space. Lovely indoor sitting room with great working fireplace. Nice buffet breakfast with on demand eggs and fruit, sweets, breads, cheese, ham, etc. The very small town has two very big and busy restaurants that in winter open only during the day.

SpainNo comment - nothing negative to say.
Everything went perfectly well! Comfort of the room, cleanliness, cozy common room with several books/games and a fireplace, bar with great wines, complete breakfast with an array of options, beautiful outdoors to enjoy...but most importantly, the outstanding service Nieves provided. She was definitely the cherry on top of the experience; so friendly, so attentative, so helpful, and so inviting! Moreoever, she provided all the information we needed to make our experience an unforgettable one. Honestly, this was the best experience my husband and I have had with a host, to the point that we want to go back in the future because Nieves made our visit one to remember. Thank you for everything, Nieves! Deeply apprecite the lovely stay in Can Partit!

United States of AmericaThere was a sign that said for a fresh towel, place it on the floor. I did this but it was re-hung in the bathroom. I used the extra towel but needed to be careful not to mix them up
The staff, art and the common areas. The staff was warm and friendly and gave me an extra blanket when she saw me in the common area (it was chilly) Also great breakfasts.

NetherlandsI probably would aim for one of the upstairs rooms just because of the mosquitos, but that is just a fixture of the time of year, not the hotel's fault!
This is a really lovely little property with a beautifully restored old house and grounds, including a small outside bar and hangout area, and a pool. My room was on the ground floor and seemed almost like a former wine cellar with stone walls. It was quite small but was perfect for one person, with a comfortable bed, and I really loved the bathroom decor and design. The staff were very nice, the breakfast was great, and the location was great as a base for drives, walks and local restaurants.

United KingdomThe only issue was that the cooler wasn’t very efficient so it didn’t keep our drinks cold, but that’s the only negative I can think of.
It’s in a beautiful location, it’s so quiet and peaceful. The room was nice and spacious, very comfortable.

United KingdomThe location was so quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views. The pool was refreshing and lots of places to sit and lounge around. No worries about not getting a sun lounger here! Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. The room was great with big wooden beams and stone walls. All very clean and staff were lovely. Even though you are in the middle of the countryside it is only a 30 minute drive to some lovely beaches and to the old town.

Switzerlandtotally peaceful in the surroundings at the finca. We enjoyed the beauty of the property, esp. the secluded pool. The breakfast was so lovely with a perfect presentation. Sometimes it felt like being in Africa. We appreciated the bio store and it had everything one needed. No need to drive out to find water or snacks. There was a french press in the room to make coffee. The mosquito net was an added plus as the little beasts were active in September.

United KingdomA few mosquitos around outside at dusk, but not too bad and free spray available at front desk.
Gorgeous, rustic, agritourism hotel. Beautiful room with thick walls, air-conditioning, great bathroom, and modern 4 poster bed. Excellent hot breakfast taken at tables in the garden (or indoors). Small swimming pool but good depth and very refreshing. The staff were wonderful and very helpful at all times. There are two restaurants in the tiny village, both good but Can Cosmi truly exceptional and famous on the island. We ate in each and in twice in Can Cosmi.

United KingdomIt’s a really lovely place, but it would have been even better if I was able to use a bike - unfortunately they all had flat tyres (it’s an easy fix though!)
Great chilled place to hang out and enjoy some peace and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the pool was clean and views incredible.

NetherlandsWe absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rural Can Partit. It’s situated in the calmer part of northern Ibiza, but it’s still very easy to get to to coast, nearby towns and interesting spots. All the personnel was very friendly and helpful. The garden is a solid spot to sloth around and breakfast was very good. The room was clean, minimalistic in design but high in comfort. Would love to spend more time.
