Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was perfect. The only thing we had a little problem was the noise from the street- because of the location there is quite traffic. But if you are a good sleeper you will be ok :)

hotel don´t have a terase or roof with terase. I miss table with chair in front of hotel for smokers.

No AC in the hotel. And they didn’t even have a fan to help with the hot room. It was very noisy at night! The voices and traffic noise was pretty awful very late into the night/morning.

Rooms - shabby, a bit small and outdated. Beds were the lowest quality mattresses. One small, measily pillow per bed. No amenities in room: no coffee maker, etc. coffee machine in lobby was a rip off: 2 euro for 2oz of coffee. were rigged to rip off guests. Booked a room with 2 beds and extra sofa bed for four people. At check in, was told only 3 single beds in the room, and it was not possible to have four people in room. After pleading I was with my kids, check in clerk told me I would have to book another room and he would not let me bring four people in the room. I told him I would book another room at another hotel. HE then watched to make sure I would not bring my family in. I had to spend two days sneaking in the fourth person without the check in staff seeing. Not very accomadating. I have never experienced such cheapness and lack of sympathy at any hotel, ever, and I stay at a lot of hotels.
location is great. Affordable price compared to other hotels in location. Ok for a one night stay.

It was incredibly clean and value for money. The location was brilliant and view of the water and a short walk to old town … a beautiful walk around the headland which you could go for miles. The restaurant meals were amazing along with staff. Definitely recommend

Added extra person to room and breakfast was extra for this person in total over 2 days we had a total 3 breakfasts 1 less that the 4 paid for staff were not very helpful with this

Rooms a bit outdated, small and uncomfortable if you want to work with laptop. No place for that. Too expensive for that price
Very good location near the sea and old town 300 meters from Barceloneta metro station. Polite stuff. Excellent breakfast, tasty and good choice.

Hotels location was brilliant , close to everthing and the cleanliness was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was really really good , lots of options and tasty.

Only one remote control for parking door. Every time when we went with car it is compulsory to return the remote key on reception desk.
Location was perfect. Near to the center,near to the city public transportations. Good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel is located in peacefool area.

The room with the terrace is smaller than I imagined from seeing the photos before and the door is pretty much next to the bed. The beds are not very stable and generate noise on the marble - a noise you may hear all day and especially night from most rooms.
The location is great, the room had a terrace and this is a nice perk for the morning coffee or late hour wine. Staff is super friendly. The place is clean though.

We asked for twin beds but got one small bed instead. The drainage in the bathroom smelled bad and the shower had half of glass doors so while taking a shower u ended up flooding the whole bathroom.
Super nice receptionists. Great location and very clean and neat.
