My room was next to the courtyard, so there was always a light on, so the room wasn’t dark enough, which as difficult to fall asleep and wake up to.

I love the personal touch, my name written on the bathroom mirror welcoming me. And the personal notes in the elevator. The value for money, with breakfast included. My room was upgraded so that was a great surprise. Great location.

I booked the single room, got a double, however it was super tiny with a window to the atrium, where the light was on all night.

The location is very central, but the street is undergoing construction....not the fault of the hotel. We were confused about parking arrangements. The 3rd single bed was a bit small. We prefer to make coffee in the room.The staff are lovely and everywhere is clean.

Instruction to reach the place was a bit misleading as its was difficult to park the car even to take out the luggage.Maybe because of the construction works on the street where the hotel is localized.

Breakfest was quite poor in the cofee bar at the corner with the dirty floor and a limited choice for breakfest. For eggs You need to pay additionaly.

The hotel is centrally located in the old town area, near the beautiful Plaza Merced. You step out into the maze of narrow streets alive with bars, restaurants and clubs. Despite that the internal room was peaceful. The whole hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were super pleasant and helpful. The hotel's choices of bright reds and stark blacks against the white walls certainly reflected the name! Room facilities were sufficient for a short stay, but may be a little lacking for a longer one. The lobby area was being "refurbished" at the time we visited, so will be different to later visitors.

Maybe a little noisy at night but only if you're a light sleeper

The rooms were a good size, and the bathroom was also a great size. The location was very good and the staff were lovely. Our room had blackout curtains, which kept the street light out. We had a little coffee maker and a safe. There was an iron and mini ironing board, and we got fresh water every day. I would definately return and stay again. It was fantastic value for money.

It was impossible to get into the shower and close the door so I simply showered with the door open. Although the lights in the common areas switched on with sensors, there was a light on all night on an upper floor that made my room rather light, in the absence of blackout curtains. As a result my sleep could have been better.

Check in was rapid. The room was small as expected but clean and quiet. There was free fresh water. The hotel is very centrally situated so a short walk to everything. Bed and pillow very comfortable. Staff really nice.
