Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was smaller than it looked in the photos, the bed was quite small for a couple, and also a little bit short as my husband is 1830 cm and his feet got out of bed all the time 😁 If tou have a larger luggage, it will be problematic
The location is perfect, close to all tou could want in the heart of the city, but on a quiet little street that keeps you away from the city noise. Very cosy place, beautiful design accesories, small but fancy room.

Had not been advised prior to trip that breakfast would be served in lobby of hotel instead of usual restaurant prior to stay. Unfortunately table we were given was right I front of the main entry/ exit of the hotel. Therefore, people were coming in and out and virtually brushing past our table. This was disappointing fir the first 2 days of our stay!

staff could be a bit more friendly, tough girl at breakfast was very helpful, too expensive for a hotel of this category, although BCN was very busy at the time, high occupancy rates at most hotels

Fridge is not working. This is not acceptable.
Hotel is in nice location. It is enough to stay. Workers (especially Yasmin) are nice. You can feel comfortable at this hotel. If you need anything, Yasmin can help you (supergirl :) )

room was expensive and quite small (typical for Barcelona); no place to hang one's towel near the sink - only towel bar was above the toilet

Rooms are very small, and the beds were not comfortable. Towels provided are little old or things coming off and sticking on the clothes, Breakfast was included in the price, after two days we have decided to have it outside.
Receptionists were exceptional, Yasmin & Pablo was vey nice and friendly. Location is good, two minutes walk and you are in the middle of Barcelona city. Cleaner doing her/his best job every day, as when we come back in the evening the rooms were spotless

No fridge and iron and some think the room is too small but it is cost-efficient choice considering the excellent location.
The location is more than perfect a few walks away from the subway, El Cortes and Aerobus station, especially if you plan shopping in the area of Pl. de Catalun ya and hang around the Gothic area. Teh breakfast is excellent. The room has A/C so we had good sleep during the night.
