Didn't realize while the location is very central and convenient, it's very noisy. This plaza is a party place all night long, so definitely had to use the ear plugs they provided. Wish the breakfast had been included in the price.

The breakfast atmosphere ~ a bit cold on the plaza outside

The room was just lovely and spacious with a balcony overlooking the plaza. The bathroom was well equipped and comfortable. We were staying here when there was a major power outage across Spain and the hotel were extremely helpful. The staff here were great and very attentive. The noise throughout the night and early morning from the plaza was very loud but the hotel acknowledges this and provides ear plugs. It didn’t bother us too much but might others.

Fantastic location, lots of great restaurants, cafes, & shops nearby, but the room was quiet, no noises coming in from the street crowds. The staff was friendly and very helpful, from pre-travel and throughout our stay. The room was small, but comfortable. We enjoyed using the sauna (private booking) and the rooftop patio, overlooking the square below, would have been great to have a drink or go for a swim if the weather permitted (too cold in Feb/March to sit outside!)

I am not satisfied with the wiring setup in the room. It’s quite inconvenient that when the lights are turned off, the wall sockets beside the bed also lose power. This affects my ability to charge my phone and means the bedside lamp won’t work either, which is a hassle. Additionally, I suggest providing complimentary water in the room or in the corridor of the floor. After a long day of exploring Barcelona, it would be nice to have water readily available when resting in the room, especially since there is no bottled water for sale in the fridge. Moreover, I noticed that there wasn't always staff available in the restaurant during breakfast. It can be challenging to get the attention of the reception staff to inform them that we are dining there. A little heating to create a livelier ambiance would be appreciated, as the current atmosphere feels rather dull. It would also be helpful to have a pitcher of water or a water dispenser readily available for guests.

The location is superb; I couldn't ask for more! I enjoyed the breakfast, and the room is spacious, including the toilet. The staff are friendly.

The hotel was a bit too formal for our taste. The staff was very nice but I think it was a bit too high end for our family.

Room is a decent size but not really anywhere to store suitcases, overall I think the hotel was a bit less luxe than the photos for the stars allocated and the price but it is an old building in a fabulous location so understandable to an extent.

The property is on the old side . It was clean but the elevator did not work half of the time . The entire area was under construction so it made it difficult to get around walking around construction . Also the noise level from the square was terrible until 3:00 AM most nights . Some of the staff really tried to be helpful but really were not . And overpriced !

Lounges around the pool, there were not enough. Having to ask for fresh water to the room each day.

Location was fantastic. Room large enough and the bed very comfortable. Ricardo is a legend, was very helpful, and on our leaving, assisted us across the street to flag a taxi for the airport. Pool bar was great, but doesnt open till 5, which means ordering and taking up in the lift a drink from Bar Tomate. Breakfast time great - we always slept in and made a late breakfast. Due to the location, we will stay here again.

Great location in the Gothic Quarter. Easily accessible to public transport and within walking distance to key tourist destinations. Excellent roof top bar and great bar staff.

the pool was only knee deep and the roof area was not maintained.

King room was spacious, comfortable and quiet despite the hotel being located in a busy at night area. huge artwork print on the wall give a nice feeling. Bathroom was large too with double sink.
