Staff excellent, lovely clean hotel right on the beach

The view from our room was great. We looked out at the ocean and watched surfers as we relaxed. The location was excellent in a quieter section of the city, yet easily walkable to other areas.

The hotel is small and the balconies are so close to each other that you feel that you are on top of each other , but that is so insignificant when you have that view !

Lovely hotel , we stayed on the first floor with balcony to the sea . Love the sound of the waves crashing . The room was decent size , beds confortable . Shower very good . It is a pity we didn’t stay longe to enjoy the room and his mini balcony . Another bonus is the free breakfast , very nice and decent ; Servíng cold meats , bolleria and toast . The staff is very friendly . Very close to the caves too! Parking available around the hotel - free .

My favorite hotel on the Camino del Norte so far. Modern facilities, lovely terrace, spacious room, and a private balcony overlooking the beach. We had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant as well. Hotel staff were kind and attentive.

This hotel was in many ways the highlight of our two week touring holiday around northern Spain. The bedroom was not as large as the typical Parador bedroom, and it was modern so lacked the character of some of the historic hotels we stayed in. But Ribadasella was an absolute find, the location of the Don Pepe was unbeatable with its magnificent view over the beach and out to sea. The breakfast buffet was very generous, we dined at the hotel on both nights on their very affordable 28 euro fixed price menu and the food was of very high quality. The staff without exception were the friendliest and most helpful of any of the hotels in which we have stayed. The bed was very comfortable and though the hotel lacks aircon the ceiling fan kept us cool in the exceptional October heat. We would be very happy to return but would stay longer than this time,. Top marks.

No coffee machine or kettle. But that seems quite common in Spain.

Fantastic fresh breakfast, big continental choice, fresh fruit and squeezed juice. Free WiFi. Location is excellent, right next to the Promenade and beach. Ribadesella is a gem, we will go back. Highly recommended stop for a few days at least.

We arrived very late and left next morning so spent very little time at this hotel, which is a shame as wonderful location. Booked cheapest room, didn’t have a balcony, which we knew but although it was in the eaves it was spacious, was obviously a family room as had 4 beds! Good breakfast and staff happy to let me take coffee back to room before breakfast.

The room was marvelous! Clean, bright, and spacious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is great, in front of the beach, close to centre and everything (groceries, laundry, restaurants). We had dinner in Don Pepe restaurant since we were a bit lazy to walk far (we are on Camino and had long walk on that day😃), surprisingly the food is tasty! and the staff amazingly good. So basically Ribadesella left us great memory during our Camino trip.
