Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Beautiful classic property in a fantastic location just across the public plaza from Seville’s Cathedral and the Alcazar, with many restaurants, gelato stands, coffee, shops, etc. only steps away. The rooftop deck-bar with a view over the cathedral was is a magnificent place to spend an evening?

United KingdomCan be a bit noisy with early morning deliveries and our room directly above the sliding doors in reception could be heard easily.
Its in the heart of the old town. Our room felt like we were entering a honeymoon suite. The view from the hotel was lovely too looking onto the cathedral. The pool is refreshing.

United KingdomThe breakfast seemed to us extremely expensive, at 19 euros per person. Given the location, and the amount of local competition, this is surely not justified. If it had been cheaper, we would have chosen to eat at the hotel, however. The lack of clarity about use of the swimming pool on the roof was also frustrating. One member of staff said although it was out of season (the season apparently starts in June), we could use it in the mornings from 10am. The next day, a different member of staff seemed horrified we were interested in using it at all and emphasised it would be entirely at our own risk, as it had not been kept clean. The pool certainly looked clean and I had booked the hotel partly on the understanding that we could use it! Maybe this is something the hotel should reconsider - even having it available for an hour a day to guests would seem a good idea. For those of us used to English weather, it certainly seemed hot enough in Seville in April!
It was nice staying in such a well-established hotel in a fantastic location. We liked the interior decoration and the various historic furnishings. The staff were helpful and the terrace and bar were amazing, with views over the cathedral. We had a large bedroom and sitting room, with a sofa which converted to a bed for our daughter.

what a great hotel right in the heart of the old town. we had room 210 which overlooked the beautiful cathedral and square. The room was clean and very comfortable and well furnished. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was only £27 for a taxi to and from the airport and it dropped us at the door. We loved the terrace bar with a pool for chilling out after exploring this amazing city. The Alcazar palace and cathedral are on your doorstep along with a big choice of tapas restaurants to sit under orange trees and people watch. would highly recommend a stay here.

United States of AmericaThe location of my room. It was between a storage room/exit for the hotel and the breakfast dinning area. Staff were constantly slamming the storage door early in the morning to retrieve items. The door slams very loud. If you do not like being woken up early in the morning and continuously learning the door slam DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 106.
Great staff, great hotel location to the old downtown area of Seville. The breakfast offerings were good. Nice downstairs and rooftop bar.

CanadaThe Patio de Cristal is a misnomer…it is not what is expected. It is not a patio and there are no crystals, lights or otherwise.
The hotel is smack dab in the historic city centre and walking distance to all the must-see monuments, museums and such in Sevilla. The hotel itself is steeped in history and well appointed. The Terrace-Bar has a great view and a relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a whirlwind of activities. We loved the water pressure of the shower and bath especially.

Czech RepublicIn a 4* hotel, I would expect that it would be possible to make tea in the room or in the hotel lobby (kettle and tea). There is a lot of untidy dust on the floor in hotel room.

IrelandVery noisy at night on the street outside which was because of removing chairs after Easter processions every night & emptying of glass recycling bins but this was not the hotels fault.
Fantastic location beside the Cathedral and on a lovely street with plenty of lovely restaurants & bars. Our room had a balcony with lovely views of the cathedral. Hotel was spotless with lovely Spanish features. Very helpful staff and a lovely roof terrace although we didn’t get to use it due to bad weather.
