The host, Paul was very attentive and the location of this place is not too far from the centre (7mins with a taxi). We had a lovely breakfast with stunning views. I would choose this place again if visiting Oviedo in the future.

Everything was high quality. The house is well kept with very good taste. The view over the valley is breathtaking. The quality of the breakfast. You can see the passion of Paul who put all the attention into each little detail. We travelled a lot but this is rare gem. Hats off!!

Fabulous view of a ninth-century church from the terrace. Very comfortable room with a lovely terrace. Paul was an exceptional post, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and he also provided dinner and wine for a fee. It was great not having to go out for dinner after being busy all day in Oviedo. Highly recommended.

Breakfast, a cooked breakfast to your choice was good, maybe have the cold choices as help yourself. It was a little awkward having to ask.

Nothing I didn’t like not a single thing.

This is incredibly beautiful place, situated in natural picturesque views of mountains and hills. The hotel is beautiful , clean , and just lovely. I can’t praise it enough !!!! The owner Paul was very nice , and he gets his eggs for guests breakfast from his neighbours chickens it doesn’t get fresher than that!!

Not really a dislike but just a comment that the rooms don't really have any ventilation, so they are quite stuffy. But opening the windows helps immensely.

Lovely location and view, delicious breakfast, and a really kind and attentive host. Also enjoyed a wonderful dinner while I was there, which was much appreciated after a long day of driving!

Peaceful rural location but only 10 minutes drive to Oviedo. Helpful owner, Paul , who gave us some good recommendations for places to visit. Very clean, Paul took great pride in making sure everything was just right.

The location was very peaceful, the host, Paul, was very helpful and went out of his way to assist us. We had a lovely terrace with stunning views over the countryside and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. While our stay was short (less than 24 hours), it was a memorable one! There is clearly so much love and care that goes into El Mirador de Bendones - Paul was an excellent and gracious host. The location is perfect, being less than an easy 15 minute drive into the city, yet you feel far enough removed. It's a really lovely neighborhood with a beautiful view of the old church and mountains infront of you. Breakfast with delicious and the rooms were very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay. Fabulous view of the church and mountains with a lovely balcony. The location was exceptional, as it was in a quiet and peaceful location and also very handy for visiting Oviedo. Paul was a very welcoming and helpful host.

This Guesthouse is one of the best places we have stayed in Spain. The host is simply great and welcoming with great tips for sightseeing as well as for the food. The views are splendid and the location is more than peaceful while still being really close to the city center. I would recommend to book directly through their own website and enjoy the stay. Awesome accomodation in a stunning surrounding. Only 10 minutes away form Oviedo but still very peaceful and rural. Host Paul is always at your service and very helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean and authentically decorated for the region you stay in. Large terrace with beautiful view. Breakfast awesome and freshly prepared by Paul. Would recommand to everyone, in one word: awesome
