Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe price per night could be a little less. Maybe if I stay longer next time, I will get a better price per night? I didn't try the buffet dinner at EUR 48, but there are plenty of great high quality options in Deia.. In fairness to the hotel, the dinner also includes live music 🎶
Everything about the hotel! One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! I can't remember I check out feeling so happy about my stay. When speaking to other guests we ageed that that it felt we were on a film set location!!! I will be coming back! Deia is also surprisingly charming.

United States of AmericaIt was a little odd navigating where the restaurants were located. Also when we asked about places to eat off property or activities we didn’t get a lot of assistance. The staff was friendly but not like a concierge, and the staff at the private beach were not very friendly and lacked any urgency to help serve us.
Beautiful location. Intimate and exclusive. The pool setting is amazing, and the view stunning, and the sounds of nature wonderful. The private yoga was amazing and I highly recommend Estella.

United States of AmericaAt first we thought it was a little further out from the main bus stop but after you eat the breakfast the walk to town is actually very good idea.
Beautiful! We LOVED everything about Es Moli. Excellent breakfast. I even loved the cat that visited me by the pool. The staff transferred us from the hotel to another hotel in town was ideal (good, fair price).

United States of AmericaThe single thing that could be improved it to have more plush bedding. I prefer a comforter and duvet to a coverlet.
The setting, grounds were expansive and amazingly beautiful! The service and staff were so helpful, personable and attentive. I really enjoyed the view and balcony attached to our room. The setting is great for family, adventure or romance.

IsraelThe hotel rooms could do with a small restoration, but I wouldn't want the place to lose its homey charm...
The hotel is located in the beautiful village of Deia with stunning views overlooking the mountains. We were looking for a family-friendly hotel and this was a perfect fit for us, with beautiful grounds and and a heated outdoor pool. The hotel itself is a bit outdated but that's part of its charm. The staff are lovely. The breakfast was excellent (as was the dinner we had at the Tapas restaurant) and of course - the access to the hotel's private beach with gorgeous views, lounge chairs, a snack bar and relaxed atmosphere, which is definitely a highlight! Just minutes away from the center of Deia, Es Moli is perfectly located for day trips around the entire Sierra de Tramuntana (highly recommend renting a car and exploring this whole area). Thanks for a lovely stay!

CanadaIt's a bit of a walk to the rest of town and we were tired after walking along the GR221. However, it wasn't a huge deal as the hotel has a nice bar and tapas bar and breakfast is included so we didn't need to leave to find dinner or breakfast.
The view from our terrace was incredible! Also loved the pool - it was heated to the perfect temperature. The grounds were lovely and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed taking the bus to the private cove. We only stayed one night as we were hiking the GR221, but I wish we'd stayed longer, just so I could spend more time at the pool! Breakfast buffet was very good.

United KingdomUnfortunately although the breakfast was excellent and lunch in the private beach was also good, the quality of the room service meal and evening meal in the main restaurant were both disappointing.
The breakfast was excellent - and eating outside was great. It would have been nice if the breakfast tables had been set up outside. The pool and location surrounded by trees and the mountains was really good.

United Arab EmiratesThe coffee was fine but it tasted like it came from an automatic machine. It's a minor point and the only thing I can think of which could improve.

BulgariaThe main restaurant proved a disappointment in almost every respect. The manager was impersonal and refused to let me sit outside on the terrace despite my insistence. I was cold and uncomfortable because of the blasting AC. Service was slow, the fish I ordered was not tasty at all. The place had the grey atmosphere of military barracks canteen. A total waste of time and money. The water in the swimming pool was also cold. Nobody was using it.
I liked pretty much everything at Es Moli. The staff is excellent, very professional and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The area around the swimming pool was green and quiet with a very good bar. I took the shuttle bus to the hotel private beach which proved to be a nice ride along the fantastic coastline. The night I stayed at Es Moli was my birthday and to my surprise I found a bottle of wine and a card in my room!
