It’s not something we don’t like, just a little issue. We can not take show on arrival day because there is no hot water supply to few rooms. We were told that we could not change the room because it’s fully booked. We took our show until next morning before checked out. Hotel fixed the issue over night.

Hotel needs a slight renovation. Noisy neighborhood, due to its central location.

Decent hotel, in a very convenient location - nearest metro station only 100m away, walking distance to old city and many attractions. Gentle and helpful staff.

Dirty carpet in the room, a smell of old and rusty. We kept windows open all the time but we could not get rid of smell. The air conditioning was full of dust and also generate a smell. Bathroom and kitchen need some refurbish, they are old dated. I was afraid to the stove, it didn't look very reliable. The breakfast is nearby, in a Caffè small space. People very friendly but things to chose to eat are very limited. Coffee was horrible, more water than coffee. Price was too big for what we got.

There was some noise at night outside our room as the access to the main garbage used by the hotel staff was outside our room and used very late at night and sometimes woke us up. Also the doors closing to the adjoining rooms can be loud to wake you early in the morning sometimes. The breakfast was average.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to provide us with a room with one of the "best views in Madrid" of the Palacio Real as well as meeting our needs for additional comfort with the bed with extra pillows and blankets. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet at night to provide a good nights rest despite some noise in the hallway. The kitchen was amply supplied for simple meals for breakfast or lunch and if something was missing the staff was very quick to provide it. The hotel had a great location in the western, more affluent area of Madrid and the nearby parks provided easy access for daily exercise. Also, the hotel was located very conveniently and close to the Madrid subway system and shopping was relatively close by. The WiFi worked great. There was ample closet space.

Check in was likely Fawlty Towers. Chaotic and unprofessional. Receptionists using radios to communicate to housekeeping staff. Room not ready until 45 mins after stated time. We waited. Staff couldn't focus on serving one person at a time. Floor still wet from cleaning on our arrival.

Loved the location. The room was excellent. Nearby restaurants were plenty.

Location is good when travelling by car to Madrid as there is a public carpark 2 mins away. Friendly staff who treat as like family as we are regulars.

Great location to central town. Short walk to main sites to see. Nice staff at reception. The room is very spacious and is as shown in photos. Room is a bit outdated and tired. Overall comfortable stay.

Breakfast next door a bit sketchy. Our carpet was badly stained. Bathroom paintwork needs refurbishing.

The Air condition: Ancient, Loud, smelly, Noisy, inefficient, has no remote control, the manual button controls have no labels on them so it is a matter of trial and error till you learn how to operate it The Microwave, first of all, it doesn’t fit in the kitchenette, so it is on top of a table under the TV, the rotating plate doesn’t work and you have to turn it manually The kitchenette is extremely small with no place for the kettle, do you have to adjust ut it on the stove top!! “Rather dangerous” There are no electric socket by the beds, only one socket so you can only charge one device at a time The night stand, is solid block of wood, no drawer, making it less useful. I believe that minor adjustments to the facilities is needed and necessary, to improve the quality of stay at the hotel.
