Quite far from the centre of town. The sight of dozens of big trucks parked in front of the hotel was not welcoming. At breakfast the staff (who spoke bad English and worse Spanish) were anxious to keep regular guests away from group travellers, probably because group travellers get free breakfast and others do not. In any event breakfast was adequate but not outstanding.

    Comfortable bed

The facilities are modern with all you need on hand for accommodation and very good food, evening and breakfast. Its not a pretty area as on an industrial area but safe and quiet, clean, spacious for parking and easy to find, with other facilities in the town nearby.

The hotel restaurant below could have offered more food throughout the day. It was closed for meals at certain times of the day, restricted only to drinks and food off the bar

The hotel was clean and comfortable but a little 'dated'. This did not detract from our overnight stop.

It was an overnight stop-off point for us in Haro. Having arrived at Santander from the UK, the drive took 2 hours. The hotel was comfortable, clean and convenient. It is situated on an out-of-town industrial park so had plenty of parking on site. It felt safe and secure. The staff were helpful and their English was good (my Spanish is quite basic). The on-site restaurant offered a good, value for money evening Menú del día. The Rioja was lovely!

Bar and Restaurant Staff appalling - both rude and ignorant. Service virtually non-existent. Large open area very noisy. Meals very average if not sub-standard. If you book the Wine Tour offered by the hotel make sure it is in your language, ours wasn't - 2 hours wasted!! This is a 'Truck Stop" with a Hotel attached.

Reception Staff were courteous and helpful. Rioja wine country very interesting with some fantastic vineyards to visit however I DON'T recommend ETH Rioja Hotel as a base.

Cuz it was raining, the location wasn't ideal, but they were honest about the location & if it's nice out, it's walkable to the bodegas. It is a bit isolated and looked like a place for tourists, but again, they were honest about it. I didn't like how crazy & loud the wind was on the windows, but my brother said he found it relaxing--so I suppose it's a personal choice. I'm not sure how they'd improve the quietness/dampen the sound either.

We ordered a room for 3 adults, assuming the extra bed would be uncomfortable and the room tiny and squished. Instead, they gave us a suite. The couch that converted into a bed was very comfortable-not lumpy or uneven. The view was great.

Very nice staff, very clean and comfortable hotel. 10 minute drive to the Haro wineries or a 40 minute walk. Nice food in the bar as well. Allowed me to check out late on Sunday. Although it's in an industrial park, the inside of the hotel is modern and clean.

The location was hard to find and outwardly looked like a truck stop. The listing said there was a hotel shuttle to downtown Haro but there was not and that was disappointing.

The breakfast was excellent value. The restaurant looked interesting but due to our plans we didn't have an opportunity to use it. Not too far from the wine festival.

First night arrival in Europe, great wine bar for tasting with great prices and variety, excellent dinner, did not have to go into town. Comfortable room. On the outskirts of town so closer to the bodegas, driving in Haro was difficult.

Don't expect a glamorous location: it's an amiable, quiet industrial park. Slightly eccentric bath layout: you need to be steady on your feet. In-room WiFi worked crankily.

Came with small group of friends for Rioja area wine explorations and this place fulfilled our needs more than enough. Easy walking to Martinez Laquesta, for other Haro wineries is easy to get taxi from here. Place has a is a bit oddly looking environment resembling truck stop since is positioned outside town, but great for bus/ minibus tours Since generous parking lot. Satisfying breakfast and helpfull personell were pleasant treat.
