The party which happened till 4am below my room. The hotel is a glorified portacabin. Also nothing on there website saying the pool was closed.

    The shower!

You had to pay in order to acces a good wifi connection, the standard free wifi was not adequate for youtube/netflix.

Good hotel on a great location, good breakfast, room was clean and comfortable, big bathroom.

    Small rooms and now views.

Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Liked the underground parking although a bit expensive. Kudos to Katia in the breakfast room who made our mornings.

    Nothing!

Lovely modern hotel....great decor! Spacious twin room...good air-con and WiFi... Car parking (charges apply) and direct access to reception and rooms.... Breakfast.... Friendly staff..... Now pet friendly....for rooms on the ground floor. Good location close to some bars and restaurants, the beach and promenade; but a good 20-25 minutes walk to the city centre or a short taxi ride! Roof top pool with views....

The communication with the staff was not the best (some were helpful, some not) A bit expensive for the kind of hotel...

Good breakfast, nice variety, comfy bedroom A lot of free parking nearby

Under guest parking it says ,public parking is possible onsite, under the hotel. So we drove in . Only to find it was 14€ a night. Where parking outside the hotel and all around was free, once in ,it would cost to go out.

    The location perfect

Little out of the way if you don't have a car - fabulous for those happy to walk into town along the glorious promenade, but could prove prohibitive for less able walkers.

Modern hotel, well appointed en suite bedroom. Staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent.

Pool and gym closed due to w/e and off season - even though on 1st October we were told that the weather was much better than sometimes in summer.

This was our second stay, lovely hotel with very very comfortable beds. Wonderful walks on the beach promenade.

The mini-bar prices are extremely high.

The spacious clean room was great. The swimming pool overlooking the ocean is wonderful. The blond young woman at the front desk was very pleasent and helpful.

The pool bar was closed, which meant having to go from third to -1 floor to get a drink, if you wanted one. The restaurant was closed on sunday nights and mondays. It's not major but it does hurt the experience.

Great location, nice staff, excellent breakfast.

The rooms are minimal, as well as the bathroom features.

Very simple and unpretensious place. Acceptable for a short stay.

The only things I could nit pick are a poorly designed shower and uncomfortable pillows.

The hotel was in great shape and the room was very clean. It is also in a great location.

The shower was not working properly, bathroom floor was dirty, doorlock card was not functioning well and needed to swipe a few times before being able to enter the room.

The location was good, the room was nice and comfortable. Personnel was good and helpful.

We unfortunately had to change rooms due to a sewerage smell, which apparently is a problem that occurs on some tides with sewers backing up. Despite the hotel being full we were found the only spare (disabled rooms) which was fine for our 2 night stay. You need to be fit to walk to the centre and harbours of Gijon, but it is a lovely walk along the seafront.

Very helpful staff, both at Reception and breakfast. This is a modern comfortable hotel with good underground parking, which is free for a motorcycle.

There was nothing we didn't like but on 2 occasions the card key for the light was taken by the cleaning staff. Quickly and easily replaced by the reception desk staff with no problem and apologised.

The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and soft comfortable bed linen. The shower settings for power shower or gentle wash. Easy to use instructions in both Spanish and English .

Not much really, just the fact that there was no furniture on the balcony. Seems a bit pointless having a nice big balcony and nowhere to site.

location of hotel was good at eastern end of bay, perhaps too far from centre for some. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast was OK, had to ask if wanted a hot one. Liked that we had a balcony, but why is there no furniture on it, especially as there was a kettle in room, would have loved to have sat outside with my coffee!!!
