Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is great in that you are in the heart of everything. We were on the fourth floor and there was little to no noise to bother us from the streets. The room was very comfortable with a huge bed, kettle, mini bar, very good (huge) shower and large fluffy towels. Bed linen was lovely.

Nothing major: my wife felt the room decoration was a little austere but agreed it was very clean and comfortable.
True five star experience in the heart of Pamplona. A hotel that clearly has a history behind it, and a number of rooms overlooking the final stretch of “the Bull Run” (which I suspect will book up a very long time in advance). An excellent restaurant providing a very good breakfast ( albeit the same each day, an array of bread and cold cuts, pastries and cakes, with a little fruit and yogurt, with a small selection of additional freshly cooked egg options). Excellent dinners.

Nothing to criticise at all
Very spacious, elegantly styled room with small balcony overlooking one of the bull-running streets. Huge bath for two people with separate rain-shower room - nice toiletries and useful his/hers kits. Very quiet room, even overlooking the street. Good coffee machine and fresh milk provided free-of-charge from the kitchen. The valet parking was pricey but very useful and convenient in the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great stay. Thank you!

Pamplona was a quick stop for us; we just wanted to see it on the way to see our family. This hotel was a very nice surprise. From the moment my husband and I walked in, the staff and owner were kind and accommodating--we were greeted in a memorable way, and a staff member parked our car for us. This hotel is charming and elegant and it has a lot of history. It is also in a perfect location for walking around Pamplona--the route for the running of the bulls begins right nearby. Our room was very comfortable with a wonderful shower, and we enjoyed an elegant breakfast downstairs.

The room lit by skylights
Great location in the “casco viejo”, on the “plaza del Castillo” and its famous cafes. Close by the “Calle de la Estafeta “, the Cathedral, the “Iglesia de San Saturnino “ (a must go). You can also go by foot to the department store the “Corte Ingles” . Great interior decoration For info : Hemingway stayed at the hotel and used to go to the “Café Iruña” where you can find the Hemingway corner. Great staff, wonderful service The valet parking : The hotel private parking space inside the public car park under the “plaza del Castillo”.

Service at breakfast slower than when we stayed before. Might have been better if it had been busier.

The directions for parking could've been better considering that we had to drive right on the Square to get there, but the staff was very helpful and guiding us in

The breakfast was slightly unusual, with waitress service. That said freshly cooked food was available and the breakfast was more than adequate. If driving to the hotel, have faith in your satnav as it iis reached via restricted road zones!
The hotel is excellently placed on the main square. The old town and sites of interest are within easy walking distance. There are also plenty of restaurants close by. On arrival, our car was taken to the secure parking area and we were helped with our luggage. The room and bed were very comfortable, and with an excellent bathroom with two showers!
