Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Saudi ArabiaCouldn’t use swimming pool it was not good water for my side , seems small and closed area. They requested me to wear a hate and slipper to use swimming pool as well. I recommend to check filter and clean for swimming from time to time.
Very comfortable beds, clean, nice smell.

SpainThe only thing was that the reception had very long lines for check in and check out everyday.
Everything went splendidly well!!!. I loved the hotel itself as well as the room. The staff was kind and amicable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the bed very comfy. The hotel is in a great location and you can get to the center in less than 10 minutes.

New ZealandThe sound proofing of the room was non existent, which means I could hear the people next door.
The room was good, clean and tidy, although part of the floor was ripped up, but hidden by the bed. A full bathrooms which was excellent. 15 minute walk from the train station.

United KingdomMain downside is that the sound insulation INSIDE the hotel is poor. While the traffic outside was barely audible, the rooms inside face towards internal balconies that look over the lobby, meaning that from 6am I could hear everything happening on the bottom floor of the hotel. Guests outside my room were also very loud. I needed earplugs, which I didn't expect to need in a 4-star hotel. It would be nice if they had sound-insulated doors, or a second internal door for rooms that are close to the lobby overlook. I expected to sleep best in this hotel, but I ended up sleeping better in a hostel room with 3 other people and Holy Week processions right outside, which is strange for me! That being said, the only time I heard neighbouring guests inside the rooms next to me were if they were using the bathroom. Other things: Everything looked clean, but there were some black hairs in the bath on arrival - maybe from the cleaners, so I just rinsed them myself. The "eco think green" hand soap they use really irritated my hands, although using the body wash from the bathtub instead helped alleviate this. Sustainability is fine when it doesn't trigger eczema with its harsh ingredients and perfumes, sadly this one does - I can normally use hotel toiletries fine, especially at 4-stars, so this was a surprise. If it is a normal service to have the kettle etc., it would have been nice to have had that on arrival, and if the receptionists knew that it was a normal service. It felt like I was a surprise guest and like I would have to go to effort to get my own drink, or pay extra to the hotel despite paying a lot for the rooms. However, if it isn't a normal service, I'm really grateful that they went to the effort to provide it - I felt I could relax and feel at home in my room in the mornings and evenings a little more. I would say this is a 3-star hotel that could be a 4-star with some changes.
Staff friendly and helpful. Great location, although I would say the walk to the centre is closer to 15-20 minutes. Room and bed very comfy, bathroom really nice. Good sound insulation from the traffic outside (but see the next section) Breakfast was great, although I only used it once as I didn't want to spend 14EUR a day. All kinds of fruit, pastries, cereal (with non-dairy alternatives), seeds, savouries (oil/olives/chorizo/tomato/meat/cheese), hot breakfast, and you can customise an omelette if you want. On my second night, they brought a kettle with cups and tea/decaf coffee. I did ask about it the night before as it wasn't there on my first night and was told I'd have to buy my own coffee and ask for hot water at the bar, so I'm not sure if this is a normal service that wasn't included on my first night due to an omission, or if someone noticed I'd asked! They did allow me to store some of my own items inside the mini fridge, which I was grateful for - it's a small gesture that can make a stay a lot more comfortable. Indoor swimming pool is really nice off-season, but changing rooms are outside and is basically a room with toilet cubicles, so a little cramped! They do offer a towel for free if you need it. Bring a swimming cap or buy one there. Safe luggage storage.

United KingdomCould hear what we assumed was piped hotel music late into the evening and early in the morning, but this could have come from a neighbouring room.
Location was good as on the edge of the city just off the main road we travelled on from Sevilla. We didn't want to drive in the centre at all. Parking was available at an additional cost.

FinlandAir condition was on winter mode i.e the rooms were little too warm for us. We had to run it off and open the balcony door. Since the highway is nearby it wasn't very quite. Parking costed 18 euros per day.
Comfortable beds, clean room and bathrooms. Swimming pool was open in Feb, indoor and small, but kids got to get their fun anyway since the pool was heated. Pedal court, spa and massages. good facilities

United KingdomWe booked a family of 4 room with 2 young children and they were put on a sofa bed with big gaps down the side, I was worried each night they would fall in so had to make shift pillows in the gaps for their safety. Also, when i booked the family the rooms looks very nice. On arrival, me and my husband had 2 singles and beds and the kids were on the sofa bed. My mother in law booked a double room and it was bigger and better and cheaper - she even got robes and slippers and we didn’t but paid double the price.
The hotel is clean, breakfast is good and it is a good location to head to the skiing in Sierra Neveda.

CroatiaThe four of us tried to have dinner at the hotel, but we were told that only larger groups are accepted for dinner. We don't know why, so we were forced to take room service from another, smaller restaurant where the offer was weaker. At times the hotel was unbearably crowded because children from some school or sports club, who were guests of the hotel, were running en masse in the corridors.
The beds were very comfortable, the rooms spacious, the location of the hotel quite ok, the staff at the reception were friendly, they printed me out some papers for work for free. Next to the hotel is a shopping mall where we got some things we needed.
