Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Slightly away from the city centre.
Very good spread for breakfast compared to the other hotels in Spain. Very clean and a room with a good view. Professional and helpful customer service from the front desk to the breakfast halls.

Location was excellent, a short walk to the city centre and cathedral. Room was clean and spacious and towels changed every day if you wanted to with sufficient storage space for a short visit. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice that catered for all tastes. The staff were welcoming, considerate and helpful. The best. All in all, a brilliant hotel that is ideal for a city break and more. Absolutely recommend.

The breakfast room! Far too small for the number of guests using it. There is a buffet style breakfast, which means people constantly moving about pushing between tables to get food. Hot breakfast items were constantly running out and there were delays before they were replenished.
An impressive, high specification building with a very up-market feel. It was great, on arrival after a 200km drive to a city location, to be able to pull up at the door, leave the car in order to check in, and then to park the car on site. Almost everything about the property was excellent.

The price was slightly high and it was raining the whole time but that’s not the hotels’ fault
Amazing location. You can walk to centre. Very helpful staff and helped us with directions to Alhambra. Lovely coffee shop on site! Cute hotel

The structure of the hotel is very good and the attention of the staff, specially in the afternoon Sofia / Olga, and the guy who helps with the luggage (sorry forgot his name). Special thanks to Joaquín and Olga for making my birthday there more special.

We initially booked a terrace/balcony room. Unfortunately, when we got there it was incredibly small, including the bed, which would, in our opinion, have made our stay uncomfortable. Olga, on reception, had no hesitation in offering us a different room but without balcony. Perhaps it is something you might advise when booking rooms, that the balcony rooms are significantly smaller than regular rooms?
Second time we have been here, its well located, the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Jesus in the bar/restaurant and his staff were very very good!

The fries in the restaurant were a real disaster and unworthy of serving in a hotel of this price range, in fact in any hotel. The cook should best take a course in frying fries.
The room was very good and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very extensive, but the tomatoes and mushrooms could have been a little warmer. The hotel is close to the unjustly underrated Monasterio de San Jerónimo with beautifully painted walls and ceiling in the church, which is an excellent starting point for further exploration of the old town.
