An absolute gem! Such friendly and helpful staff, and a superb yet quiet location. It had everything I needed, was spotless and served up the most delicious breakfast.

We didn’t love the look of breakfast (for €15pp) so we gave it a miss.

We were lucky enough to get a room overlooking the back courtyard, room 318. Like the rest is f the hotel, it was very well presented. It was a good size, as was the bathroom and if anything better than the photos. The staff were delightful and we loved the spacious dining area and library to hang out in, and the patio to sun ourselves.

Would be nice to have some toiletries such as soap for the sink as I had to open the shower door to get to the soap fixed to the wall but really this was so minor. The room I had was very small with a view of the wall but I was hardly there and the other facilities outweighed these minor inconveniences. It was clean tidy well looked after and perfectly adequate for my needs. The rest of the hotel however is outstanding.

Fantastic location 10 minutes from La Ramblas and Gaudis Casa Batllo. The staff are so incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. There is a business centre, lounge, free coffee and cookies and they don't mind looking after your luggage when you check out. Wonderful sunny terrace with outdoor loungers to sit in the shade. Beautifully decorated, huge sweeping staircase, light and airy feel. Room was quiet although right in the middle of the city you weren't kept awake. Beds were very comfortable and the shower very powerful. Stayed for business and would definitely return.

We had to change room because it was noisy on the first night so didn’t sleep well. We were moved up a floor for the second night and the staff dealt with it quickly and were very helpful

The hotel has a great location. It is almost close to everywhere, very easily accessible from the Airport, and also within walking distance to almost everything in the center. The hotel is beautifully renovated and we loved that the old furnishings or doors and windows were preserved and lovingly restored. Online check-in at the hotel is also an option that saves time for entry to the room. ​ Although the room was small, it was more than enough. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the linens. Breakfast is very nice, and many varieties are available. It's also great to have coffee and water available 24/7. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Moving beds.

Location was perfect. Right in the middle of everything. Room was spacious and comfortable. Just wish the beds were a bit larger and that they didn't move around. We had to be careful not to fall in-between the beds throughout the night.

Safety became an issue walking south of the property after 9-10pm and especially near Arch de Triumph.

Character of property as a “boutique” hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The location made walking an option for nearly everything we wanted to do while here with 5-20 minute walks to most attractions, bars/restaurants, train station, etc.

The air-condition was not air-conditioning. It made it quite warm, unfortunately. In hindsight, we should have complained when we entered the room, but we were too tired from the trip already..

I liked the classy hotel ambience and scenery. They really did a tremendous job making it look classy. I also really liked the breackfast and we were able to lengthen our stay without much hassle (flight got cancelled).

Amazing building in a very central location. Feels upscale bit at a very reasonable price. Quiet, great common spaces, some rooms small but very clean and comfortable, free.coffee machines are a nice and welcoming touch.
