Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room was a bit worn out and required some renovations. It did not feel like a 4 star hotel but 3 star.
Location was good, next to transportation means, not too close to the centre. The area is quiet and safe. Pet friendly. Private garage for additional payment

United KingdomThere was nothing in particular that I didn't like about the stay. Most of it was fine. I do think the price I paid for it was a little more than for this kind of place - but I would imagine that most European city hotels have increased their price.
It was a good hotel, the size of the room and the shower was good. Its located right next to the metro station so its easy access to other parts of the city. The room was clean and there was enough natural light coming through. So all in all, it was fine.

United KingdomThe room was clean; however, it was a bit tired and in need of a lick of paint. The shower is over a bathroom is very old fashioned and not practical and doesn't quite fit the hotel's style. For some reason the bath was painted with matt paint, and it was a bit weird. Regardless I would probably stay here as everything else was perfect.
It's a great location and a modern hotel. My friend and I stayed here for three nights, and we were able to walk to most places. I loved the selection of complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. I feel like every hotel should have this - I love this concept.

KyrgyzstanThe windows were tinted - I understood that it was because it faced a wall of the building, however I just need the real view even if it is just a wall. I had an uncomfortable feeling I was trapped in some closed box because of it
The biggest plus is no charge for dogs - that was the reason we chose the hotel Very big and comfortable bed The bathtub Spacious room Working zone Nice interior Good value for money Private parking with direct access to the hotel

United States of AmericaI really didn’t like the room “decor.” They were advertising a clothing brand inside the room, with 4 or 5 very big framed pictures of men wearing raincoats, and more three of those same raincoats hanging on the walls. It was weird going to bed and feeling like I was inside a store.
Bedroom and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was very good, not far from the metro station.

ItalySome details here and there could have benefitted by some little renovation and care - but really we list this to fill in the box :) nothing that prevents us from leaving a good review for the facility
Nice room, comfy bed, clean and well equipped bathroom - all the essentials are met! We also appreciated the extremely kind and helpful staff to organize our visit in the city and also the location close to 3 metro lines and bus stops. I consider it really a strategic location for holidays, close to the center although in a safe and more quiet location. Complementary tea selection was great!

ItalyThe bathroom has some mold. There was no ventilation and also no hooks or racks to hang any of our towels on. The minimal built in furiture in the room was old and showed signs of damage and wear.
The property was close to metro stations and a taxi stand. There were also so many cute restaurants, breadshops, and markets nearby. The breakfast served was absolutely wonderful, as was the breakfast staff. Coffee, tea, cereals, fresh yogurt and fruit, meats and cheeses, breads, jams, hot eggs and sausages, all in a lovely setting. The bed and bedding was perfect. I must find some pillows like the ones in our room. I slept wonderfully.

FinlandThe room had only see-through curtains, so there was quite a lot of light in the morning. The sound isolation was not the best, and we were also on the first floor (very close to the hotel entrance), so we could hear everything happening at the reception, and sometimes it was quite loud. The breakfast was a bit overpriced.
The room looked exactly like it was advertised. There was everything we needed, and it was clean and comfortable. There was a little working station with a large table and free coffee, which we really appreciated as we needed to do some work-related stuff during our stay. The wifi was good. However the highlight was the staff - they were quite helpful in general, but the restaurants they recommended to us were the best we had experienced in Barcelona. Thank you!! Metro stop was very close which is for sure a plus.

United KingdomAnother mirror in the room would have been helpful to get ready while someone else was in the bathroom.
The room was clean and comfortable. The only down side, was that there wasn't a mirror in the room, just in the bathroom. The hotel is in a good location near a metro stop and close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The tea bar was a very big plus.

NetherlandsWe were there in the winter, outside temperature was around 15 celsius. Inside the room it was hot, the airconditioner had two modes: scorching hot or off. We tried sleeping with the window open but it barely cooled down and the very noisy street was a real nuisance. We bought earplugs, but we still had trouble sleeping. The helpful staff brought us a small (and noisy) fan, but this was not a real solution; The aircon only cools in summertime.
The staff is really friendly. Complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Nice terrace on the roof. Location is good, Vila de Gràcia is a very nice neighborhood a few blocks away. Subway to the centre just around the corner. Plenty of options around for breakfast, lunch or diner.
