Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe room facilities are a bit ‘tired’ for a 4 star hotel.
Good place for a stay with young kids. Good food, if somewhat basic. Friendly and helpful staff.

United Kingdom2 bed apartment was tiny and cramped. Maids turned down beds and provided new towels every other day but they didn't sweep, hoover or take rubbish away. You couldn't have a glass at the bar - just paper cups. I understand paper cups by the pool but at the bar inside the hotel is stupid. No one wants to sit there of an evening and drink a cocktail or whiskey from a paper cup. Staff weren't very friendly. The hotel was packed and crowded. The scramble for the sunbeds in the mornings were a joke. If you got to the pool after 10 you weren't getting a sunbed all day. The food was ok but very same old same old every day. We were bored of the food on offer by day 3. At the buffet hall you couldn't pour yourself a beer or a wine you had to order it from the waitress which took ages - likely by design to save money. Expensive stay for what we got for 7 days. No kettle in the bedroom. No ironing board in the bedroom. No blankets provided in the bedroom. It was freezing at night.
Pools were generally very good. Slides were good. Lots to do outside the hotel. Kids club was good. Kids entertainment was good.

United KingdomThe room was quite small for a family suite. It was fine as we only really stayed in room to sleep. The cooked food in the restaurant was often cold due to there being no hot plate/warm lamps to keep warm. Most of the inside public areas of the hotel could do with some interior design
Great location, only a short walk to both of the main beaches in Lloret (Fenals and Lloret), one of the castles and the coach station The exterior hotel grounds are kept well. Several swimming pools and slides were brilliant. Staff were generally friendly and helpful..The restaurant and housekeeping teams particularly work hard and go out their way for you. It was peak time and we only had to wait a few minutes to sit in any of the restaurants. The hotel was very clean. Entertainment was quite good catering more for the younger children. The massai warrior show was excellent 👌 Decent choice of food available

AustriaThe hotel room was far from what the photos on Booking.com promised. As a family, we received a king-size bed, a single bed, and a pull-out bed that was disappointingly uncomfortable. I can’t complain about the king and single beds—they, along with the matching furniture, were fine. But the cleanliness left much to be desired. Being on the first floor, the view was nothing special, and the room itself felt gloomy and poorly lit.
The children’s pools and water slides made their afternoons truly delightful. Despite the crowds and the mix of nationalities, some people were kind and friendly—while others seemed to have left their manners at home

GermanyThe hotel is crowded with either families with children or classes of school kids. Some kids behaved very badly at the buffet, but the waiters stayed calm at any time. Also at night people were running through the hotel floors. Parking garage was very very tight, parking space cost us 25 euro per day.
Friendliness of staff, variability of the food, different pools to choose from.

SwedenThe whole hotel, including the rooms and the furniture, was quite old. There were a few stains here and there.

IsraelThe hotel was pretty full and one of the elevators wasn't working. So we had to hike up and down the stairs for a couple of days, however on the bright side, we got some great exercise.
The resort is extremely spacious. Loved the fact that there were several pools to choose from as well as some water slides for the kids. Breakfast was pretty decent. A basic yet good selection for everyone

The dining area was somehow small, and at times we had to wait in line to be seated. This was a minor inconvenience but worth noting for future guests.
The location of Hotel Guitart is ideal, just a short walk from the beach and close to many local attractions. However, it is worth noting that the hotel was quite busy during my stay, and a significant number of guests were notably noisy. Despite this, our stay at Hotel Guitart Lloret de Mar was pleasant, and we felt it was great value for the money. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable. We would recommend this hotel to others, especially for those looking for a good balance between quality and affordability.

TaiwanThe food was awful, I had free breakfast during my stay and after trying it the first day I just bought things at a small supermarket. It's the worst breakfast I've ever had. I shouldn't have included breakfast in the reservation.
Location was very convenient, surrounding hotel were empty and it was winter, so the surrounding were very quite. The room was comfortable. Not much other than the basics.
