- lack of sockets - it would be great to add more wall sockets or provide guests with extension cable with more slots. - some of the furniture in the room was very used and there were stains on the wall - it wasn't problem for us, but if someone expects everything perfect for 4 star hotel, this could be disappointing

We appreciated heating in the room as we spent 12 days in a hotel during February/March. Staff at the reception desk and housekeeping was very friendly and helpful, nice to see that sustainability is important for them. Breakfast was good, we could use more variety in dinner buffet. We haven't experience any problems with mosquitos as someone mentioned here before. It is true that in our room were only 2 wall sockets - one at each side of the bed and they were used for night lamps - we were ready for that as we read it in previous reviews, but it is something that could be improved. Overall we enjoyed our stay here :)

Absence of service at breakfast. - but small point....in relation to the whole stay. Equally a "shuttle service" to Mijas, would have been nice. Service from taxi was slow....

Beautiful small hotel with delicate fragrance. Smallish room but comfortable and adequate for our stay. Breakfast superb with broad choice of dishes, I would prefer some sort of service, rather than totally buffet, Suggest one should be "shown" to a table and offered tea or coffee or cold drink.

Location a bit far from restaurants/bars so car definitely needed. Pool seemed closed and not many sun beds available. Bar staff not very friendly or accommodating.

Far to expensive 25€ a night for our dog,.. We travel a huge amount this was far the most expensive, the cost is usually 10€

We thought the main restaurants buffet dinner offering was too much, both for quantity and price. Bar food was ok but not great. Green Alhambra four euro a bottle. To get the last evening pee for the dog a bit complicated. Isolated in terms of finding alternative food choices.

The hotel was easy to find, ample parking just outside and leaving you'd be driving out to the main road to Mijas. Ideal. The hotel looked very pretty, we especially liked the landscaping and gardens. Our dog loved the walks on the country roads around the hotel. Good breakfast. We looked in the gym which seemed wonderfully high tech.

Mosquitoes a nightmare !!!! Think something needs to be done as they everywhere in bedrooms and bar /breakfast area . We bitten very badly and had to go pharmacy for treatment . Our stay January this time and last time it was early June same problem . Has put us off returning again . Which is a shame as hotel grounds facilities are fabulous .

Breakfast was amazing had everything you would expect and more. Freshly cooked and bread meats and salad very fresh . No complaints from us.

We came on winter time, so we couldn’t try the outdoor swimming pool. But they have indoor pool and also sauna is a plus 😊

The location is good. Near to Fuengirola and Mijas Pueblo. The hotel is pretty especially the outdoor swimming area. There is free parking.

There is nothing to dislike at this hotel,

We have stayed at this hotel many many times, we like that it is fairly secluded, it is advisable to have a car if staying at this hotel. But there is a bus stop outside. Hotel decor is of a high standard with an upmarket feel, it is very modern whilst still keeping some traditional features in the main areas, rooms are very clean and modern with large TV and good wi-fi, staff are all friendly and helpful.

The electricity in the room. There were no empty outlets by the bed or table, only the ones bedside lamps were in, but the lamps had a metal part in the part by the outlet so I was afraid to touch them, so the only charging option was by the couch cca 1,2m high, which was out of reach of everything… and no ventilation in the bathroom… otherwise nice room

I love the traditional Spanish style on the outside and modern facilities in the inside, the breakfast was exceptional, there was everything you can want for breakfast.

Just to mention for future iprovemements with nearly a decade of experience in the hospitality sector. - The layout of the bedroom is not so practical. For example no towel rail holder next to the sink, toilet paper holder behind the toilet, chair in front of the TV so you can't see without moving it. The temperature control panel on the wall was so annoying at night as it's super light straight next to the bed. No main light in the bedroom only 2 small bedside table lamp. - We had a buffet dinner at the first evening, seriously the worst food that I ever had in my life. Cold dry meats, no taste at all, cold rice, empty chips container, leftover salad which wasn't fresh at all, additionaly very pricey. We paid 46 euros for that with 2 drinks. You could have a decent delicious meal in the local tapas bar for a tener per person. The restaurant staff were not so friendly and helpful during our stay, we would call them rude sometimes and hardly speak any English. For the following reasons I only give you an overall 9.

The hotel itself is simply beautiful, great location by car, the building, decoration, the garden, the view is simply amazing. Our room - 316 was quiet clean, the blond housekeeping lady was very nice and friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the dining area is also nice and clean. Nice quiet night we spent there. The receptionist, Garry with 2 other ladies at checkout were really nice at 7 am in the morning.

The beds moved away from the wall when you sat up in them. The shower was intermittently scolding every few seconds, but reception stated that it happened in all rooms and nothing else they could do. The buffet was the same every night.

The hotel was very nice overall. Spacious modern with good outside space and gardens.

Desserts a disaster .same every day !😫the main thing synthetic cake squares all different colours, different colour jelly hard cubes, some sort of mouse with various tastes and flavours ( none of them nice all seemed cheap , but my husband liked the coffee one ) Oh and rice pudding !! I mean you wouldn't starve , but it's nice to have some sort of sweet treat to look forward to. No ice cream or yogurt or anything that had any imagination to it. They did serve fruit which helped .they could do so much more to give a better experience on the desserts . Suppose it helped me not to eat too much sweet! 😉 It would be fab to have a kettle in the room !

Great view across the location from our room Great staff (all of them ) they all made us feel welcome and at home . We had a couple of issues in the restaurant and the staff (once they were informed ) were very obliging and courteous .I could only praise all of them. such nice staff 😁 every single one of them ,without exception . Many thanks to them all . They work so hard and seem to work well as a team in the restaurant and always with a smile and some fun about them too . We always had something nice to eat at dinner time for the main course . Not the best food selection I've ever had in a 4 star hotel but definitely value for money and positive, so we were very pleased overall. Everyone really wanted to do the best job they could do for us as guests ,and this is something that was felt by us whilst we were in the hotel 😁 I would recommend this hotel and we would like to return again.!
